NETENT slots games, I feel the RTP is no better than MG slots

Hi All:

After tonight, I have on and off played at NetENT casino for a year. I used NordicBet USD version.
IMO, the RTP of NETENT slots games are not as stated better than MG slots.
I never played in EURO, so I do not know if EURO version paid better.

I have made many deposts and played some good and bad sessions. However, IMO, most of time, the slots games will simply not pay anything.
The features and free spins just very very hard to get, sometimes, for few deposits you will never see one.

I played alot on jack hammer and dead alive. dead alive IMO is the so far best game for me to play on.

It is the "BDBA" on NETENT, however, for a year, my best is 450x my bets on low rolling.

If you look at screenshots section you will see how many 1000x bets I got from BDBA of MG.

I think if you look at RTP of NETENT slots, they are misleading, they are no better than MG slots, even might be worse.

Some of the netENT slots are quite fun but overall, netENT has a very very very long way to go catching up with MG.

(If anyone think I have not play enough to draw such conclusion, I can show you my deposit and cashout history at nordicbet)

Just my view.

Cheers

You probably haven't played enough spins to have anywhere near enough sample to say something like "Slot A returns more than Slot B".

Off the top of my head, I'd say that you'd need at least 1 million spins to even begin to make the claims you've made.

You might be right, above is just my feeling of playing NETENT slots.

Most time when I played netent slots, they are ice cold.

I think many players here have played at netent casinos, any big wins worth mention?

'Reel Steal' is actually the "BDBA" of Net ent, the paytable and free spins - structure are pretty much identical.

I used to play Net Ent slots a lot, but something changed last summer for me. I couldn't hit anything decent anymore and so I have pretty much stopped altogether.

My biggest win all time is from Dead or alive, around 700xbet (you need to get those extra 5 free spins with a wild on every reel to get hits this big). I also have a bunch of good hits in Fruit Case (upto 600xbet). These 2 games are pretty high variance obviously.

I dunno about the RTP: not enough playtime in either software these days to have a meaningful opinion on the subject.
The occasional stab I have usually ends up in tears (of rage).

Where is it stated that they are better than MG?
MG don't state the RTP of their slots, but most are believed to be in the 95% to 96% region - the same as NetEnt's slots.

That is a matter of personal opinion, of course, but I would say that Dead or Alive is nothing at all like BDBA!
For starters you don't have the 5x Wilds which make very big wins in normal spins, and HUGE wins in free-spins possible.
IMHO the ONLY way you'll get a big win from DoA is if you get lots of sticky wilds in the right places in the free-spins.
I reckon x450 is a bloody good win on that slot!

Last week I made a deposit at a NetEnt casino, played for about 7 - 8 hours over 3 days, and cashed out more than double my deposit.
I didn't get any wins over bet x 100, but I did hit lots of nice ones over bet x 50.
As far as I can recall, these were all the games I played in varying amounts:
Jack & Beanstalk
Frankenstein
Polar Tale (NEW) - interesting game - lots of wins close together raise the thermometer and trigger a good bonus round!
Groovy 60s (3 lots of free spins - all crap - I THINK they might have changed the game...?)
Secret Code
Dead or Alive
Jack Hammer

Most of my profit was due to Jack Hammer. At times this slot REALLY sucks, but when you hit a good patch it can be very good indeed.
I always vary my bets on this one - I increase my stakes after a winning spin, for 3 more spins, then drop them again. That's because it nearly always seems to be "streaky" for me.
My best win came from getting 25 free-spins when on a £3 bet and was Bet x 91... see below!

Jack Hammer is notorious for being a tough game at NetEnt I believe.

As stated above Reel Steal is the BDBA of NetEnt, while Dead or Alive is decent, you're basically hoping for the 5 wilds in free spins.

I enjoy Frankenstein, Piggy Riches, Mega Fortune (when the jackpot is relatively high), Flowers and Alien Robots - you should try some of those.

KK :D

Polar Tale, is this a CTXM game ?

I just wanted to do some Piggy Riches spins last night before going to bed. Deposited EUR 100 at Nordicbet (my first deposit this year actually) and was really not expecting much since I was betting EUR 3 / spin with a low balance. But I was lucky and got a 400 X bet in ordinary play, cashed out about EUR 1500. I like Bacon :)

I don't know actually.
I just found it in the games list at Come On casino, and had a go.
It didn't give any clues on loading up - so it definitely isn't NetEnt's own.
First time I got the fishing bonus feature (a bit like MG's Polar Bash) it gave me a very nice win over bet x50!
The rest of the features I got weren't so good though... :(

BTW, Come On have also just added a load of flash MG games too!

I really like Netent but I do find that for a software that slots that boast a 97% RTP (I think I've seen Rainmaker say that a couple of times) that the free spins features in their slots are so hard to come by. Take Frankenstein for example. I think at one stage I went 5 or 6 deposits without being able to get a free spins on it, and I haven't even gotten a re-trigger on it since the very first time I played it all the way back in June. Flowers is another example where free spins seems almost impossible to get.

I had not heard of Polar Tale before, Googled it up and saw CTXM mentioned several times so I just thought it was one of their games :)

Yes, Come On has added some Microgaming games. I think the tendency with Net Entertainment based casinos in general is that more and more will add the Quickfire package by Microgaming. I see that as a good thing

I have NEVER hit anything decent of Flowers - and I agree the free-spins are very elusive.
They can be on Frankenstein too; sometimes I've gone many 100s of spins without getting them, but I've also hit them 3 times in about 20 spins too - so can't really complain.
I've only once got the free-spin multiplier up to x5 - the graphics are superb, but it was a very disappointing result - I only ended up with bet x 35 :(

I can sympathise a lot with you when comparing play time between NordicBet USD and Microgaming and I too have often wondered but have left it at that because I do very much enjoy the games on NetENT.

It just sometimes sucks that I will deposit maybe two or 3 times in a row before I even get a feature and not just on a handful of the games, I find they can all be very hard to trigger a lot of the time.

But in saying that, there are times when I will get the features in abundance and do very well on them.... Not very often but it does happen every now and then.

I have been playing at NordicBet a couple of years now and I am well into the minus with them, where as with microgaming I am level or slightly above.

For me personally I find the play time a lot like 3dice in that when it's cold it's below zero but when it's hot you just cant lose.... those hot days don't come around often but those are the days the gambler plays for. :)

If I didn't enjoy the games and they weren't so interesting and different, I probably would of ditched NetENT but I'm hooked now so I play in hopes of having some major big hits, which are very possible with most of their slots.;)

I hope if you stay with it, your luck changes really soon plasticnote :)

Secret Code is OK when it first came out, now the same ice cold.

I read about that most MG slots are 95% - 96% RTP and netEnt non-JP slots are 96 - 97 even 97+ % on RTP.

Just not feel like this is the case.

I just wonder why bonus feature/free spin is so hard to hit on netENT slots?

And compare the # of 2 scatters and # of 3 scatters you got, it just not feel right.

You must remember that Netent slots are more heavily weighted than MG slots. At some games you see it more obviously.

FWIW had close to 150 features on DoA and once got 5 wilds with ~300xbet as a result. Only the second time it gave over 100x bet in all those features.

FWIW - I have tried NetEnt a few times and will attest that hits over 100x bet are more rare than in my experience with MG. I could easily get 3 hits over 100x bet each time I play at MG but at NetEnt hits are few and far between.

I cannot comment on the weighting, however I would also confirm I have experienced what plasticnote has said and this has obviously lead me to playing less of the software.

.

Just to add what Net Entertainment is writing about their games (RTP etc):

Every game is developed using the latest technology and is designed based on extensive analysis to meet the preferences of specific player groups. As a result of our strategy to always deliver new and unique games, every game is different and not just a copy or clone of an already existing game. This ensures that players are always offered new and fresh content which has proven imperative for driving growth.

......

All Net Entertainment games are developed based on a high pay-out strategy. Experience has shown that high pay-out games yield a higher return over time. Net Entertainment therefore typically has pay-out in the range 95-98% which has proven to prolong player life-time as well as ARPU. Pay-out is however just one dimension of pay-table design. Variance, hit frequency and distribution of winnings between base- and bonus game(s) are other factors to take into consideration. At Net Entertainment we have mastered the skill in pay-table design which is at the core of creating high performance games.

Following completion, every game is put through three months of testing and verification as part of our rigorous quality assurance process. As the industry continues to grow and the games become increasingly complex, it is imperative to have extensive QA processes and measures in place to mitigate the risk of bugs as they can have devastating consequences.

If you think your results of a certain brand or certain casino’s suck for you, go with your instincts and move on.

Of course the results could simply be variance or bad luck. But, if you’re not happy with them regardless why it’s happening to you just move on.

Making negative comments about RTP settings on any site that predominantly promotes online gaming, and is willing to accept alleged settings and any alleged rules on a handshake will not get you anywhere.

Like Rainmaker says above "what Net Entertainment is writing about their games (RTP etc)"; this is only what they say. It's a regulators job to confirm such actions, not the casinos.

Only a fool that thinks the settings suck would go through the trouble of wagering and logging a million spins to convince others of what they believe. I have yet to see posted by anyone here results of a million logged spins proving the alleged high settings.

Although there are alleged online regulators scattered around the world, they have a long way to go before catching up to the likes of the Nevada G.C., especially when it comes to gaming regulations.

Online players should treat online gaming for what it really is, un-regulated and un-enforced.

Instinct is all you got that matters when playing online. Don’t waste it.

I think it more or less a design issue on most of netENT slots.

I do enjoy some of netENT slots, however. I lost interests over very short period of time.

For some MG slots, I have played many years and still feel exciting when I play them these days.

A slots game in my view has to be designed in a more balanced way and give players incentive to keep playing.

In rainmaker 's post, I disagree that netENT has mastered the way of design slots, they have to learn alot from MG.

Nate

netENT slots design is not on the right track, if I have a say.

They start concentrating more and more on graphic, music etc these fancy things, rather than basic elements of a slots game, incentive of game play.

I agree, fancy things can get players in, however, the incentive is why players keep coming back for more.

I think this is the reason, netENT never has a game famous like LOTR, TS, BDBA or even IR.

Players just do not want to spend the whole weekend on that...

PS: Please do not make me wrong, I am not complaining because I can not win, actually, I have post few big wins on netENT slots. (4K hit on sec code, 5 wilds on Mega Fortune, etc)
I just feel fastrated after try netENT 's new slots, one by one, worse and worse...

I am glad you guys posted this because i do too find game play very frustrating most of the time and bonuses very hard to trigger. Until now i mostly read about exciting features of their games and how they can hit huge so i guess i was under the impression that i am jinxed  after hitting x1000 and nice cashout during my first session on NetEnt casino about a year ago.

A good indicator on how many people from this forum play (and have hit BIG) are the Winner Screen Shots. To be honest, I RARELY see a Big hit on NetEnt slots. Sure, they exist, but not in the multitude that MG / RTG or even 3Dice have.

Is it an indicator that people on this forum just prefer other software providers or is it an indicator of the absence of regular big hits on these Slots? I can't say:confused:...

A RTP of 95 - 97% does not mean that the Slot has big hit potential. It could be deemed medium to low variance. Take Payola at 3Dice, I probably have never had a hit over 200 or 300x bet on it. The Zeitgeist says the biggest hit was 750x in the last 4 years (last time I checked). I know the Slot is medium variance, but trying to get a hit of 1000x plus on any bet is in reality chasing a ghost. I suspect many of NetEnt games could be classified the same.

Someone hit 2250xbet on Payola the other week, but that was 5 Elvis on 1line. I think the first time someone gets 1000x bet on Payola on max lines will be 5 guitars on a x8 game

Oh Wow - Thanks for pointing that out. Just saw it on the Zeitgeist. 4 Years is an awful long time to wait for a hit over 750x bet. But I think you get the gist of my post in comparison to NetEnt.
