Welcome back.
Hey, you like paying thE £3 Neteller cash machine fee then?

£3 to withdraw £340 from an ATM is far cheaper than getting a few beers to the good of an evening and spunking a random £100 at a casino :D

I find if I have to deposit to play again (i.e. fund my Neteller account with my gaming card, and then immediately pay that off through my online banking), it feels a lot more 'real' than simply using funds from my Neteller account.

That's why I generally keep my Neteller account empty, so if I want to play, I have to pay, if that makes sense :)

Yes I'm paying more in fees, but it also means that when I make a nice profit, I get the money from an ATM and pay it into the bank the next day, rather than having it whittled away from a few lazy nights play.

It's just too easy to chip away at a nice Neteller balance, £50 here, £100 here, and so on. Next thing you know that 'nice win' from a few nights ago has all gone!

Hang on a mo Chopley - you seem to forget you can W/D the neteller balance, in it's entirety, cheaply into your bank account. I gotta admit here, I have the Neteller+ card myself and it's nice to get the readies in cash and I have done so myself on several occasions. But is it not cheaper (and has the same effect of preventing you 'reinivesting' it) to just transfer it online to bank? Haven't checked so I don't know.

For me to transfer the money from Neteller to my bankaccount is far more expensive than to take it out from an ATM. More than the double actually, so I stopped doing that. Don't know if it's the same for everyone though. $20 to bank, $7 from ATM.
What I have found is that there are some stores where I can take out totally for free but only up to a certain amount.

Refund? In that case they owe me a lot of money:rolleyes:
I don't care. I use my card and don't want to mix that money up.

I think the main charges are on currency conversions. I get free bank withdrawals if the bank account is the same currency as Neteller, but if it isn't you lose the FX fee which probably has commission attached.

Thanks for splitting the thread :)

You maybe are right but I don't think so. When I started to transfer money to my bank they charged me just $10 and then suddenly they doubled it. It's the same amount no matter how much I withdraw so it can't be currency conversions.
My bank then charge me too so the $20 isn't all :(

If you get VIP, u can have 2 neteller accounts and with 2 cards, also higher withdraw limits. i think once i withdrew 6000$ whitin 24h form atm.
6000$ in 24h?? with neteller???

what kinda vip are u there? i didnt know this... for me its 750 in euro regardless my vip level.. btw iam there platinum vip..

For non VIP, it is £5 to withdraw to a bank, and it takes a week. If you can get almost all of your balance out of an ATM for only £3, and instantly, it becomes a better deal. The Net+ card can also be used to buy goods, and there are no fees for this. It is only a better option if you actually want the goods, so it is not often the best way to remove a significant balance from Neteller. One problem is that the Net+ card can't be used to settle bills such as credit cards, as it is not a recognised debit card. This removes the most efficient means for removing money from temptation for free, and which would also help towards responsible gambling in that bills would be paid before money is spent at casinos.

What is the reason some of you use different currency?

Remember that you can have 2 cards when ur VIP, there is few tricks u can do to take out more in one time.

I know of a trick to withdraw with no fee and bigger ammount, but this only works in Norway, so i dont know about Netherlands.

In your case you can have 2 cards so 750X2 = 1500€ in atm, but in POS transaction you can have bigger.

With Neteller there is a fee for withdrawing to bank/card.
Also extra fee if its in different currency.

Moneybookers is much cheaper.

yes 1500 is max i can withdraw... over two cards... i think its the bank what allow u to withdraw... maybe in nordic countries bank allow bigger withdraw from AtM with ur card..if i withdraw once and i do it again it will block me,i have to wait exactly 24h before iam able to withdraw again... and that max 4-5 times a week i thought...
