MOD NOTE. This discussion has been split out from the Immortal Romance thread found here.
---------------
£3 to withdraw £340 from an ATM is far cheaper than getting a few beers to the good of an evening and spunking a random £100 at a casino
I find if I have to deposit to play again (i.e. fund my Neteller account with my gaming card, and then immediately pay that off through my online banking), it feels a lot more 'real' than simply using funds from my Neteller account.
That's why I generally keep my Neteller account empty, so if I want to play, I have to pay, if that makes sense
Yes I'm paying more in fees, but it also means that when I make a nice profit, I get the money from an ATM and pay it into the bank the next day, rather than having it whittled away from a few lazy nights play.
It's just too easy to chip away at a nice Neteller balance, £50 here, £100 here, and so on. Next thing you know that 'nice win' from a few nights ago has all gone!
