Question Neteller question, phone support is clueless

I just wanted to know as i'm not sure about this, I made a payment of 566.5 pounds over the phone to countrywide residentia(Brigfords lettings) on 26th may, 2016 which was accepted on the 28th of May, 2016.

Now, on 31st of May, 2016 they issued the refund of the 566.5 pounds to my mastercard as I didn't require their services.

I just want to know whether my neteller card will accept such refunds and what happens in case they send the refund and my card isn't able to accept refunds because they said they can only refund it back to the method to which the payment was made from.

The neteller phone support was not able to give me a clear answer as to whether the refund will be accepted back in to my neteller or refused. What would I need to do in case it's refused as the merchant is a letting agency and won't do transactions to a webwallet or a different card then what was originally used

First, the phone support guy said they cancelled the transaction and it should have been back in my account, then he said no they took the payment, then he said the money should be able to come back to my neteller card. After that he rang me about 5-10 mins later and said that neteller cards are only deposit cards and no refunds are possible back to it but he isn't sure so email the vip support

NOTE: I understand its not a casino related question so sorry about posting in this section but couldn't find any other section to post such a question. I decided to post the query at CM as almost 99% meisters use neteller and would have encountered almost every scenario possible so they might be able to answer it better and quicker. Again my apologies for posting here

I understand your worry here mate. I hope you get them quick :(

10.5 If you receive a refund for purchases made with your Card, the refund will be paid to your Account. For legal reasons, you are not entitled to receive refunds in cash for Transactions made using your Card. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

so yes you can receive refunds back to card and neteller will manually it looks credit your neteller account :thumbsup: So I would chase them up on this. Good luck mate.
 
Yes you can and will receive a refund.

Had twice a double charge, once from a hotel and once from an airline. Appr. 2 weeks later they refunded the amounts and they were back in my account.
 
Thanks guys i hope i do as I'm currently purchasing new property and every penny counts. The only thing that concerns me is that the neteller guy said the only way it might be possible is if I can get a 15 digit code and they will add the funds manually but this is the reply i get from the merchant

I have just had confirmation from my accounts team that they do not provide transaction codes. They confirmed the refund has been processed and will be with you in 2-3 working days.
