I always wondered what others look for in an online casino and what kept them there...I visit Atlantic City, New Jersey casinos numerous times a year ( 6 hour drive) and I have found that The Borgata is the class one casino of all there..if online casinos would incorporate some of thier services etc...it would be a match made in heaven, IMHO..

Here is what I find that keeps me coming back to an online casino..in no particular order..and some of what I wish would be incorporated into some sites...

1. I hate bonuses because I want to cash out anytime I feel like it without a hassell (usually)...but a surprise deposit by the casino every once in a while that has no conditions is #1 in my book. , whether it be $10 or $50...just nice to know your appreciated without strings..

2. Service, is good to have with easy access, contact with support.

3. Double dollar comp day once a month (with no conditions) is a great enticer.

4. Weekly, biweekly or monthly slot tournaments is a definite "keep this casino" in my book.

5. A fast payout system (to be able to come back and play twice as fast with the monies and to be able to say, I WON! before spending it back lol )

6. I get free food comps, room comps etc, at land based as most do, so a great enticer for me would be an invitational to a free slot tournament (which I get on land based casinos) with no strings attached winnings, would be a nice bonus to see in my e-mail.

7. Online support in real time would be nice if you ever have a problem in the middle of a game (some have this already which I really like

Hmmmm...think its time to wake up :D

It doesn't sound *that* crazy! Most of what you said is already in place in some online casinos or poker rooms.

I only play a little at online casinos (my favorite casino games just don't translate well. online craps is BORING, and they don't let you take turns as banker at online pai gow!) but the poker rooms treat me real good!

I just hate all those "whoever wagers the most" tournaments. How about some real casino-style tournaments, even if we have to pay entry!

I'm not a big online casino player but the huge waiting periods are obnoxious! The fast poker rooms pay me in minutes, the slow ones in no more than two days... My sportsbook pays within a few hours. Casinos all move slower than a snail on quaaludes.

I'd also love if my online casino comps were in line with my land-based casino comps. I go to a real casino, and I always end up with some free meals and a discounted hotel room. I give the same action online and they give me 0.1% and no free drinks!

The worst was one casino I played at recently where I gave over $30k of wagering before I busted... I went to convert my comp points to cash... and they gave me $4! Fool me once, shame on you....

Definately

Sounds great.

Could you imagine going to a B&M casino, winning, going to cash out and the cashier tells you "ok, we're going to hold your money here for a few days so you can go home and think about if you really really really want to take your winnings. Come back in 72 hours and let us know what you've decided!

I also agree with schnozzy

These tournaments are the most ridiculous offerings I have seen to date. I, too, would pay an entry fee into any fun tournament with cash prizes. I think a lot of people would.

One thing the landbased casinos have over the online casinos is how to get people pumped up over a "free slot invitational". I just received one from The Borgata for a try at $50,000 free slot tournament and I wasn't planning on going so soon again, but what the heck..I have a free room for 2 nights, free food all weekend (my comps) and a free tourny to boot to play in.

Granted, staying 2 days will put a dent in my wallet somewhat, I assume, (aren't these casinos smart!), but the excitement of playing in this ONE tournament is already there, and whatever I save in rooms, meals etc..I can blow on the slots while waiting! (and then some) lol!

This is the way to get people spending money at any given casino..I guess The Borgata will make 100 times what they are offering on people like me and that was the object in thier minds....bring people in early to spend, spend, spend!. LOL:lolup:

Are you listening online Casinos???

I would like to see some nice comps too - without wagering requirements.

You are welcome to sneek the requirements on me in the form of asking that one spend or wager a certain amount before being comped, just as long as I can play what I want when I want and withdraw whenever I please. This is supposed to be fun. I do not want to spend hours trying to chisel away at a bonus with wagering requirements.

Many casinos say they have to take me off their mailing list if I don't want bonuses automatically put in my account. What silliness is that? I guess its fine by me if the mails only contain more bonuses I don't use - but a real contest or tournament once in a while would surely attract me. Yes, I too think the "whoever wagers the most" is silly.

As a non-bonus-taker I receive no signs of appreciation. Guess online casinos don't like people to play with their own money?

Of course not...then they wouldn't have a reason to steal players' winnings

Got one for you.

I don't understand the promos that give the person that wins the most, more money.
example: come play so and so slots and if you win the jackpot we will give you another $1000. Now it seems to me, if you won the jackpot isn't that enough money? they should give the poor sucker that didn't win anything and tried like hell, the money. Or take the bottom ten losers and split the money, more incentive, I would think.
What is everyone's take on this.:what:

the perfect casino is a casino with a marketing department run by complete idiots.

fortunately, this happens to be true for about 98% of all casinos--both on land and online. LoL

Also, could you imagine playing in a B&M casino for 3 days, going to the slot club booth for your comps cash (sometimes as much as .5% of wagers), and then being told, "Oh no! You can't take that home with you until you wager it through the slots 35 times."

Lets imagine this was common practise for a landbased casino, would you then imagine this casino had any customers at all?
