I was playing at Mecca and I came across this slot from Game Account.

It was set on minimum bet size and when I increased the bet size the odds changed.I checked the paytable and found a big swing on the rtp dependant on bet size.

Ive never seen a slot where the rtp changes like this.I wonder if other software providers rtp changes with betsize but they just dont admit it?

I wish it did. In the B&M Industry the higher the denomination of the Slot, the Higher the RTP is set....

I asked online operators the question a number of times and was told that the RTP is constant for all coin sizes.

Hmmmm. Without adding an extra few sheets to my foil hat, we seem to have numerous accounts/photos of big wins whereby the player claims it came immediately after raising or reducing stakes after playing for a fair while on a different stake. While stake shouldn't affect RTP, and these could be coincidence a raise in stake may accelerate an adjustment in overall RTP that would have come later at a lower stake. This could still happen with the slots being totally random if there is an element in the program which uses the pool of wins to deviate +/- at a limit from RTP average once a certain amount of games have been played. It has the effect of compensation although it isn't - if you follow me. Bzzzzzzzz......zap gotta go now..

There are also some Aristocrat slots that do this: the ones with the "+6" Xtra features (like More Chilli and More Hearts). If you don't activate it the RTP is (from memory) around 5% lower than if you activate it but obviously you bet more coins when it's activated. It's the same with some of the land-based WMS Super Respin slots like Zeus 2 also. I'm sure there's an IGT one too...can't remember which though. Plus Playtech games with the Xtra Win button like Pharaoh's Secrets.

In theory, it should be fine for an online casino to offer better RTP in return for a higher bet per line.
B & M blackjack games and even BJ games at InterCasino do the exact same thing.

In truth, it may be unwise to do so given the tendency of players to assume that "all games are rigged/gaffed/etc.", but it should be a selling point to encourage players to escalate their bets for a better return.

If this was the case, it would suggest a pattern, and patterns can and will be exploited.

Also, even if the TRTP was raised when your bet was raised, it wouldn't mean you would suddenly win. TRTP doesn't work like that.

Given that a RNG is used to generate random results, and that previous results have no effect, then what you're suggesting I.e. that the slot "adjusts" when you lower or raise stakes to achieve an "overall" RTP for the player, is that such slots are RIGGED.....and I mean CHEATING.

The only thing that changes with TRTP the CHANCE to win. Nothing else. You could change up to the higher TRTP variant and win LESS. Only over the long term will you 5% or whatever in front.

I'm surprised you would suggest this Dunover, considering the numerous discussions you've been involved in here. If you believe that a slot adjusts to manipulate your personal RTP at a given juncture, then you really need to consider why you play it, as you are knowingly being cheated.

I've seen this on quite a few VP games but never on Card/Slots games. The RTP is adjusted by increasing the jackpot. For example, 1 coin may pay 100x your bet, 2 coins 200x etc etc but play 5 coins and it'll double the trend to 1,000x. This works in a similar fashion to progressive jackpots - the huge jackpot payout often compensates for a lower day to day RTP.

Yes, believe it or not I agree with you. My views are based on observations, personal experience of the same to the point I question coincidences too much maybe. There is one possible idea which would endorse both our views, and you hint at it above, in that on some slots we may be playing to the TRTP over less spins than we think so the effect is more pronounced if we change stake significantly from a point where we are well below the TRTP. It's perfectly possible for this to happen depending on variance and deviation without the slot 'cheating'.
