Have to say that can't really help much, would really imagine that they will prioritize their VIP customers. Often it do happen that when casinos verify your income/affordability, it can take much longer than basic KYC verification as most of casinos have smaller dedicated department for these and they usually in this stage when they start to ask EDD (enhanced due diligence) including payslip and corresponding bank statement etc... they also go through your whole account history and activity to see if there are any remarkable spikes which are not in line with your income, checking your deposits if there are failed attempts, withdrawals if there are cancelled ones, your gameplay if there is something worrying and of course do all possible background searches from sources they use and of just internet etc...
So completing this review can take quite long time, sometimes hours etc... BUT i even they would search your relatives 500 years back, there shouldn't be anything which couldn't be completed in one working day if somebody just is working on it, so my best guess is that they have loads of them in queue and are struggling to get them all done within reasonable timeframe.
That is very normal that your VIP manager or support have no idea about where that progress is going, these departments who process these most confidential information don't communicate with other departments with any details but only advise them it's work in progress (which in my opinion is quite right thing to do instead of emailing half of company that your balance on bank account then was XXX and your salary is YTC) so that is perfectly normal that you don't get any real updates about process.
I'm afraid that i can't advise much anything that would help you at the moment, you can keep contacting your VIP manager and try to ask updates but pretty much all you can do now is wait, but can't figure out anything else to do for now.
If you receive some reply that they are not happy with something and you think it's not right, then maybe people here might be able to assist what to do next but until that, let's hope you soon receive email that your verification is completed.
Sorry that couldn't help much, have a good weekend and keep us posted if something weird happens with your verification, but i wouldn't yet be too worried as you obviously are player they want to keep, especially because you said that you're VIP and your income is in line with your spending, casino can't have much better customer (so many VIP:s at this stage found to be problem gamblers who play much more than is sustainable with their income and use payday loans etc... some only to keep their VIP status).
