Most trusted and convenient transaction method

I am interested in peoples thoughts on the best way to handle transaction with online casino's. Currently I am using Credit / Debit card, which is fine, but it can take a little while getting the money after withdrawals. I keep coming across things like Neteller, Skrill etc. These seem to be, in most cases, instant transactions. Is this the best way? Should I create one of these accounts? If so what is the most reliable, trustworthy and widely accepted type?

Lots and lots of deposit methods available these days.

I'd say the one your using is the most trusted / secure though.

May take a little longer for those withdrawals to hit but peace of mind has to be worth the wait, surely?

I use Skrill a lot but If ever those 4 figure (or higher please) withdrawals come along, I tend to go for the 2-3 days wait and security of a bank wire / bank transfer, wouldn't want high amounts sitting in an e-wallet, "Just in case" plus the small fortune it would cost me to get the cold hard cash in my hand with their extortionate fees!

I also find Paysafe vouchers pretty secure as the code is generated as you pay at the Pay Point machine in the shop, again let down by the fact you have to leave the house to buy them if no cash in bank etc!

E-wallets on the whole are very good for fast withdrawals, although some charge for using them. I personally like Paypal a lot, and normally deposit when I can using this method as the transfer to my bank is instant, and there are no fees involved.

Only downside being that not every casino accepts Paypal, but generally speaking a lot of bookmakers allow this option

I use 3 methods only, paypal, skrill and neteller. The reason for the instant fast cashouts from casinos that process them within a hour or so.

Main reason i used ewallets as said above is faster withdraws but also because i do not want to give casinos my bank details. And you should never ever deposit into casinos with credit cards anyway, because say for example you win a significant amount and the casino your playing at only allow u to withdraw back to that credit card, then what will happen then is if your credit card has a set limit which they do. it means the remainder money will not be credited, because credit cards can not exceed your credit limit anyway. And another reason is because Credit Card companies charge £2.50 or £3 fee per deposit to gambling related transactions. so it is just stupid and silly.

I am confused when you said this statement. As I know you are aware that most casinos only allow you to withdraw to the method you deposited with. And for example if you have also deposit the most with 1 method be it a ewallet. Then they will not allow you to withdraw any-other way. So that statement doesn't hold up to most casinos anyway.

Just wanted to say because it is like you forgot about this before you made the post. But that is also unless you are playing in those casinos that do not mind that you withdraw to other methods regardless if you have deposited the most with an ewallet. But feel free to let me know which casinos u play at that do not have the rules i stated above as well. :)

I've never had a ewallet or used PayPal etc. Never knew PayPal was bank instant though, what casinos use this method?.

PayPal is excellent as Goatwack says. Instant withdrawals into your bank account with no fee. I used to use Skrill regularly & had one of their cards, I think it was 'Moneybookers' at the time, but used to have to pay a yearly fee for that & then sometimes would be charged if used to much in one day if I remember correctly! Haven't had any issues with PayPal & generally casinos pay faster to that method from my experience.

I refuse to pay any transactional fees because its hard enough to hit wins as it is without further reducing the RTP. So, basic bank account with debit card for me. Can't go into debt on it, and it keeps the gambling separate from my current account.

I was totally against them, but that said.. casumo and rizk where I deposited and withdrew Friday paid me to my bank tonight.
No problems at all, If a small fee ensures payments like that I don't mind one bit.

You'll probably find it does hold up

Yes the AML rules stipulate last deposit method used must be used to withdraw. However sort code / account number (bank transfer) withdrawals without going in too deep are considered an "exception" to this rule.

Reading this as "black and white" may sound confusing or even contradictory but trust me on this one it can and has been done numerous times. :D

How many accept bitcoins these days? I normally use Visa or Paypal. 32red and PlayOJO are the 2 I use and both are pretty fast at payments.

Same here - you are always in danger with Skrill/Neteller/Paypal of having summary account closures and 6-month freezes on your sitting funds for the slightest (and usually erroneous) assumption or accusation. You also lose any Section 75 protection as if you deposit somewhere dodgy and pay via Skrill etc. you have little or no protection as your card company will simply say they bought the e-credits (which is what Paypal/Skrill/Neteller are in effect selling) and thus fulfilled a transaction to a non-fraudulent company.

You also find Neteller and Skrill don't give a flying fuck about which rogue casinos they deal with, see Bryans recent report and warning on Burnbet where the scammers even claim on GPWA that because they use "Skrill and Neteller they cannot be fraudulent casinos...":rolleyes:

The there are the fees of course. So I only use debit card, no borrowing so only my cash, no fees.

More and more online casinos, sportsbooks, and poker rooms are accepting bitcoin (and even some other crypto currencies like litecoin and ether). However, it's much more concentrated in those sites serving American customers at this time. The reason for this is because those sites needed a better payment solution and this was a more natural choice. Sites that are licensed and regulated to serve Euro customers are more reticent to use cryptos because of higher reporting requirements, regulatory compliance, etc.

I have dabbled with neteller in the past however it's debit card nearly everytime it's easy secure and no fees to pay ☺

I am starting to think that debit card might be the way, probably will create another separate bank account though just for use online.
