Turn right, then right. then right again
Hi Gang

I received this promo from Intercasino today, and I have to day Im not impressed at all. It really grates my gears when a casino emails you an offer that is made to sound like one thing and turns out to be another.

You be the judge:

Love is in the Air at InterCasino

InterCasino are playing match maker this weekend as we crank up our famous Love-O-Meter and tell you just how much of a match you are with your Valentine of choice.

Simply follow the steps below and our interactive Love-O-Meter will tell you how much of a match it thinks you are then turn that percentage into a cash bonus of up to $50.

Here's how to take part:

1. Log into the InterCasino software

2. Click on the My InterCasino button

3. Open the message titled 'Love-O-Meter' in your inbox

4. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Ok cool....about time Inter sent out a freebie to loyal players on a special occasion.....thought I might get a tenner or something.

But wait - there's more - when I go to my casino inbox I read:

Go back to the casino and visit the cashier
Enter 84MATCH in the bonus code box and click apply bonus
Make a deposit of $50
You will then receive the match percentage our Love-O-Meter predicted on top of your deposit. For example if the Love-O-Meter predicted that you were a 60% match you will receive an extra $30 on top of your $50 deposit
You must wager 25 times your bonus amount on our slot machines before you may withdraw your deposit, bonus money and any winnings

I reckon anyone who read that email would surmise it was a cash bonus as stated - not a match bonus as it turned out to be. It was NOT cash - it was a straight bonus.

If you saw an email titled "We have a cash bonus for you!" from a good casino and it directs you to a url to claim it, what would you think??

Sorry, but one of my pet hates is deliberate vagueness in advertising to suck you in to logging in to the casino. Grrrr!

Intercasino

I got the same mail...thought it was clear it would entitle you to a match bonus.

Didn't go try it, thought I'd probably get `10 percent or something!

I have never made the WR on a bonus with them, and they remain active in your account for 3 months, so you are struggling to meet WR on money long gone if you make a deposit before then.

I think it can be interpreted both ways ie a ND bonus or a deposit match bonus. They should have inserted step 5 ie go to the cashier and make a deposit.

The funy thing is they have the expression "how much of a match you are" twice in their promo text, only adds to the vagueness :)

Maybe Inter uses the term 'no deposit bonus' for what you call 'cash bonus', but if so every bonus is 'cash' (because what is a non-cash bonus?) and they should've known that wording could give some players the wrong first impression of their promo.
