I wish Micro-gaming would go back to US facing casino. I loved there games and there casinos. Why won't they open a few up for US players?
RTG , and Rival found a way around Black Friday.

Politics.

IMO:
MicroGaming is a big publicly listed company in the UK - they don't want to "piss-off" our American friends. They did ignore the UIGEA for the first 2 years (Oct 2006 - Dec-2008), but then they pulled the plug.
RTG is from god-knows-where and have the attitude "we just sell the software - it's nothing to do with us where the casinos offer it".
Rival have only relatively recently gone down the same route; intendant Rival operators (who have bought the software licence outright) offer it to all countries (except Canada, because that is where Rival is based). All the White Label Rivals are still prevented from taking USA players.

I'm sure that some time in the future MG will get back in to the USA regulated market, but I wouldn't be holding my breath if I were you - it could be many more years. :(

I reckon some US casinos will licence their games eventually. There's a big market for them over there so I reckon at least one casino manager will get savvy to that and take advantage. The only grey area I guess is whether Microgaming have to be licenced to supply their games and whether they can.

I know in the past I had read that any corporations seen to be operating by skirting the UIGEA after it was passed would face sanctions if and when the US market re-opened. These sanctions would include time penalties ranging to a couple of years or being outright denied permission to operate under US regulation.

Intercasino (who were operating cryptologic software) was one of the first to pull the plug in the US and we already have cryptologic games available here in NJ.

Microgaming should be back but, IMO, RTG, Top Game, Rival, Betsoft and Bet on Soft and any others still operating here will probably never be granted license to operate legally in the US.

I don't think they would survive anyway. Their payouts suck and their games suck even more. Some Rival games are good but have you seen the graphics? :eek2: IMO allot of their current players from the US won't stick around once they are able to play other softwares.

I think Microgaming and Netent are in a whole different league all together. I think they will be back. They are solid games with fantastic graphics. I actually think the better the games the more likely they will be available because there will be a market for them.

I can't wait until they return, if and when they do. I loved the games and the graphics and I never ever had any trouble getting paid quickly and I did win some big money.
I do hope they can come back regulated.:D
