Microgaming is the leader of the online gaming software providers(well at least I think so). So it is surprising to see how they have still not been able to resolve the issue of lingering bonus wagering requirements after a player has zeroed out. I encountered this at Royal Vegas a month or so ago but what happened at Epoca(riverbelle group) really takes the cake. I deposited $20, got a $5 bonus and busted. This happened 3 times in succession and I was sure I zeroed out before making a fresh deposit. On the 4th deposit I again deposited $20 and got a $5 bonus. Balance shot up to $50 or thereabouts and the bonus relayed on the screen was adjusted from $5 to $12 with some odd cents. I then managed to rack up my balance to more than $100 and the bonus shown was $23 plus some odd cents. In other words the bonuses adjust themselves based on the balance achieved. In any case, the bonus balance should be no more than $20 even if the total of 4 bonuses for these 4 deposits are accumulated. How it came to $23+ odd cents after some play beats me. So for those who play at MG casinos beware of this little trick or rather bug.

If you still have money "in-play" then your bonuses will be accumulated. I'm not sure if this still happens even if money isn't "in-play", but if
it is, then definitely the WR from previous bonuses are going to get carried over.

As for what happened at Epoca, you might of had some unfinished WR carried over from some previous unknown bonus before your recent four deposits??? Was it your first time depositing there?

You can always message support and ask them to have previous bonus WR removed before you play.

This bug seems to be causing players all kinds of grief over the past few years. Microgaming really does need to fix it. Surely they can find the problem and create a patch in order to fix it.

It would be in their financial interests not to fix.

I personally don't agree and think that pissed off customers will result in them losing a lot more money in the long run.

Which is why they haven't fixed it yet:D It's still the right thing to do but they are probably too cheap to spend the money in order to get the issue fixed. They are too busy coming up with crappy games:D

Doesn't seem to be pissing people off enough to warrant change.

The fact is that by forcing players to either "call support" or make sure no money is "in-play", casinos force
the lazier part of their player base to continue going the WR of previous bonuses before starting new ones. On paper (mathematically),
it serves to increase their profits by reducing the rate of bonus giveaways and increaseing gameplay.

Id be curious to see how many people actually take MG bonuses...especially riverbelle where its 50x wagering.

I cant remember the last time I bothered with a bonus on MG.

I almost did on red flush until I read a term I cant play on auto spins feature.

Its 30x wagering for me though.

This could also be down to a very strange bonus system they have that allows instant withdrawals without completing WR, but until WR is complete, the bonus balance adjusts up and down to retain the initial proportion so that more is lost if a player hits big early and decides to withdraw.

When I hit that legendary 66K win off a 50% deposit bonus, my bonus balance shot right up to 33K!!!! I could have withdrawn straight away, but would have lost 33K. I chose to complete the remaining WR because no matter how hard the games sucked after that, it would be damn hard to lose 33K completing the WR. I was also VERY careful not to start betting big after the big hits (which I often do) as I might make a bet larger than 25% of the original bonus credited and lose the 66K.

If you start with $5 for $20, and then reach $50, the bonus balance will rise to $12.50 in order to retain the initial proportions. Once WR is completed, the entire bonus balance converts to cash at once. In this system, bonus balance is not an indication of remaining WR, this is shown in the cashier under the withdrawals screen.

50xB is high, but there are many other casinos that have 30x D+B or more which is even higher, and the bonus there is often phantom.

This odd system seems unique to this group, others use variations of the regular Clearplay system.

This still leaves us with a long term problem whereby the Clearplay system can pick up phantom unfinished games and fail to zero out WR when a player busts out.
