My computer broke down again a couple of days ago and I had to reinstall windows all over again
The only thing that is positive with starting up with a "clean" computer is that MG's casinos works perfectly fine. I can enter and play all tournaments and games I want. It shouldn't be necessary though, and I suppose I can expect my first error after the next update
What you have also done is cleared out the Microgaming cache, along with other "hidden" files and settings it adds to the system. Uninstalling all MGS casinos, deleting the cache and Microgaming folders, and deleting the Microgaming registry keys, will have the same effect. MGS casinos will work fine for a while, but the problems will begin after a few rounds of updates.
The problem seems to be how the updates are done, leaving loads of obsolete "crap" behind, which can then be picked up by launching casinos instead of the proper updated files.
What i don`t understand is why most games redownload themselves after an update or another game beeing added , and also why the games have the tendency to download themselves out of nowhere without me wanting to do so . Not only it kills bandwith and some games get laggy and buggy , the MGS folder gets freakin huge ( somewhere over 15GB ) , and also slows down a somewhat decent computer . We should go out and protest

. No , really way too many issues lately .. whatup MGS ?
It could have been 15Gig PER CASINO under the old system. They now have all common game files stored in one 15Gig cache, and the folders for each casino contains only the brand specific data, usually between 200 and 500 Megabytes each.
Why EXISTING games repeatedly download themselves almost every month, despite the assurance that nothing ever changes (such as RTP/reelstrips) is clearly a closely guarded secret. MGS (often via operators) have been asked again and again why this happens, and have steadfastly refused to answer the question, either directly or via the operators.
As far as operators are concerned, there is no reason for existing games to download themselves again unless a bug has been discovered. Given how rare this is, existing games should almost never be seen redownloading themselves, yet each month quite a number do, and often there are several other updates throughout the month, where we see the characteristic "double launch" of the introductory movie window, followed by the "updating" icon and laggy gameplay, even though there is NOTHING to update, and nothing in the way of new games to show for it at the end.
