MG New Games Issues?

i got them, but had this issue last time when FROL came out, but like you have done i uninstalled then install and they were there, so sorry no help here :)

Hey Gang

Anyone else not able to access the new games via the download casino at 32Red Group?

I've been uninstalling etc for days as per support instructions but no joy.

It's getting frustrating lol

I wonder if it is just my account.,..??

I have the same problem but this time I couldn't be bothered screwing around for days trying to fix it lol

This has happened on my 32red download casino at least 4 separate times when new games where released and only at 32red for some reason and it seemed to only affect a handful of players.

The first time I was like you and tried everything and support could not help much either besides send my case to microgaming but in the end on every occasion it was found to be a microgaming bug that caused it and I had to wait for them to fix the problem.

If I were you I wouldn't waste any more time trying to fix it as it will just drive you crazy :axeman: (if there was an icon for throwing your pc out the window I would of used that :p).

Seeing as though its not just you, let support know and they will send it off to microgaming.:)

I had the same issue a few days ago. The 32Red support is awesome usually, but when it comes to solving tech issues...well, there's much to be desired yet. Anyways, since they didn't manage to help me much last time when I had problems with the viper, this time I done it on my own. And the solution was quite simple. Did an uninstall and then deleted the whole MGS folder (it's hidden by the way), which was bigger than 20Gb. New download, fresh install and everything was just fine. Hope it works for you either. :)

P.S. My OS is Win 7

It was a mere 10Gb not too long ago.

This solution often works, but given the sheer size of this hidden folder, it's a drastic one as reinstalling triggers a 20Gb download, which is sure to trigger traffic management or even overshoot data caps. I get traffic managed for downloading 1.5Gb or more in a short time, let alone 20Gb. The only safe option now would be to reinstall my first MGS download after a clear out overnight. I wonder how much data the annoying habit of redownloading existing games a couple of times a month uses?

What we NEED is a proper and comprehensive "repair tool" from Microgaming so that we don't have to download the whole 20Gb again, but just those files that have become corrupt. Better update management would also reduce the relatively high rate at which Viper installations become corrupt.

Ideally, a generic "cache repair tool" could be released directly by Microgaming, as this is the file set common to all Viper casinos. This would go a long way in resolving such issues. Individual casinos could have their own repair tools, but with a cache repair, the reinstallation of individual casinos should not be a big problem, their bespoke files come in at under a Gb.

I don't think you have to download those 20GB again, or at least in the near future. This folder was containing data, delievered from more than 20 Mcrogaming powered casinos for more than 12 months.;)

As for the idea for a "repair tool" from Microgaming, I vote for that with my both hands, but I sincerely doubt we would see such soon. That's Microgaming after all, the ''hotshots'' in the town! They are never ever in a hurry for anything and for anybody!:D
