The Microgaming Casino Lobby features a Jackpot Thermometer ranging from 80 to 999 for each game. The reading indicates the last time a jackpot was won.
The formula is 80 + (the last time a jackpot was won/average time between jackpots) * 100. A high number indicates the jackpot hasn't been won in a while a low number indicates a recent jackpot win.
So the question is:
Would you play a game with a high reading deducing that the game is due?
or:
Would you play a game with a low reading deducing that the game is paying?
The Thermometer is non-sense just to suck players in.

, machines in question were Thunderstuck (can believe it can happen but still savage) and little chief big cash (disgusting, should never happen. gave me 17 return from a 700 1.25 bets when it did hit feature) so id say that scale is not very usefull, i play the slots i like to play really, jut because its maxed on the scale dosent mean ill play it if i dont like the look of it, ie 5 liners

and what he says is also correct when people buying lottery tickets falls for a few weeks what better way to get everyone back in the mood than to have a rollover or if that dosent work a double rollover then you get bombarded with tv ads telling you how u can spend the 10m+ that your bound to win huh.NOT..the one gimmick i hate on casinos is the advertising that goes mr/mrs from suh n such just won 2k or 4k or whatever wouldnt it be great to see them advertising this
