Earlier I deposited £30 with 32Red downloaded casino, and played IR and TSII, my deposit lasted about 10 minutes at 30p bets, no bonus, no wild features, although when i have won playing these games in the past at 32Red (which is rare). the wins have been ok

afterwards I deposited another £30 at kitty bingo, who have the flash version of TSII via quickfire3

after 500+ spins, again at 30p bets, I'd had 8 bonuses and 4 wildstorms, but no 'Big wins' (ie picture symbols and wilds etc), only JQKA wins

None of the bonuses paid more than 25x stake, one even payed only 4x stake (whichever bonus i chose, since i have them all unlocked), and the wildstorms were always just on reel 3 or on 3&4, the most they paid was 30x stake, if anything at all

After all that my balance was almost exactly where it began, £30.

So I upped the stake to 60p, and from the very first spin everything changed, there were communication problems, the reels were juddering about and took longer to complete, the regular small wins, bonuses and wild storms stopped happening. I got a few 'Big Wins' (the most was £18) but not enough to maintain my balance like it was doing earlier. So after about 20 minutes i bombed out.

Should the stake really matter, and are there different versions of TSII (different variance, RTP, etc) the RTP quoted at kitty bingo for TSII is 96.65%

Anyone else had a similar experience??

Short answer: No. There's on difference. None between different casino's. None between different stakes. Your experience is just from randomness.

Slightly longer answer: From everything I've heard, Microgaming slots are generally not configurable by casino operators. They have a fixed RTP, fixed reels, fixed payouts, fixed variance. If you double your stakes, all it means is that your wins will be twice as big, and so will your losses.

In contrast to this, some other providers, such as RTG slots, may be configurable. Though most likely the configuring would be to reduce/increase RTP rather than alter variance.

MG software rtp is set by MG themselves...MG is MG is MG - doesnt matter which casino you use - you choose one over the other for games preference or selection, bonuses, service etc. One casino cannot lower or raise it

With flash vs downloads, it's just preference, cookies etc....but they DO run off different servers, so, say, if you advance further in games like IR, TS II or others with a progression bar for bonuses, or have accumulated spins, what is remembered on one is NOT on the other

Bet big, bet small, play what your bankroll dictates, as mentioned above, it only changes the return or loss by the degree of the bet

ok. it just seemed very unusual to get 8 bonuses and 4 wild storms within 500 spins, whatever they paid
and very odd that there were problems communicating with the server as soon as i changed stake. almost like i'd changed server when i changed stake.
oh and the sites i use do save progress, thankfully

would it be more normal to have 8 and 4 every time, or none every time? The fact that it's random, means you can't predict how many or how few you'll get. You could hit them back to back, 1 in 100, 1 in a 1000.

If youd had problems connecting while keeping the same stake would you think it odd? Likely not. It happens. Dropped connections could happen any time
