Mfortune???? Anyone played here before??

Hi guys

Quick question, has anyone had any successful dealings with mfortune? Just played there today for the first time and I won about £2k most I've ever won on a slot.

Couple of red flags popped up, I could only withdraw £200 a time so had to withdraw 10 times. I googled how long withdrawals take from mfortune and there are a few bad reviews about them closing accounts that withdraw and don't pay the player anything.

Has anyone received withdrawals from there before?

A UK company regulated by the UKGC is a good start. Can't see a term which states £200 max w/d though. Withdrawals processed within 3 working days, or 7 if your w/d came from a NDB.

The terms only mention £200 as a limit for gains made on an NDB :

"8. Any promotion offering a free bonus without the need for the Player to ever make a deposit is covered by a fair usage policy and the maximum withdrawal a Player can make without depositing is £200 for UK Players and £50 for non-UK Players."

I would say they are a kosher outfit now.....

Welcome to CM.

Unfortunately, you have done everything the wrong way around. The time to google and investigate a casino is BEFORE you play, as afterwards is too late.

It seems there are a lot of complaints about this place, although many of them seem to be from the same person/the same country where the casino has revealed that collusion was happening (in poker IIRC).

If you get paid, then great. Either way, learn from the experience and never deposit money before you do your homework.

It wasn't a no deposit bonus it was £30 I deposited via my mobile bill.

Was a bit stupid to not research before play I agree but hey were advertising like crazy on Facebook and I just thought i would give it a go.

Really hope I do get the withdrawl cos that kind of money would give me a chance at having a go at making a part time living playing poker, something I've always wanted to try but never had the BR.

All the bad reviews I have read were from 2010-2012 so fingers crossed it's all behind them now and they are legitimate.

I can only add that I have heard from several industry people that it is a stand-up operation so I think it's perfectly safe and really just a question of whether their service is up to scratch.

To be honest, IMO most casinos that offer an NDB are going to run into player issues and negative sentiment/criticism at some stage as it will attract all sorts if the terms are anywhere half decent but a) it's their own fault for inviting it and b) it doesn't necessarily mean the casino is bad.

As an aside, it will be interesting to watch how bonus term transparency is shaped in the future as it's widely regarded in SEO circles that Google is using sentiment as a ranking factor and will do so more in the months and years to come, so negative sentiment (en masse) could have a massive impact on a casino's reach. I can see a time very soon when SEO people will be advising casinos to either make their bonus terms 100% transparent or re-evaluate them to avoid these issues.

Yet casinos continue to promote such schemes. Refer a friend is particularly risky for players as whomever they refer can by their behaviour impact on the referrer. If you refer three friends, and two of these do something dodgy between themselves, YOU are also likely to suffer consequences such as being considered part of the collusion, even if you had no idea what your "friends" were up to.

The collecting player was no more "genuine" than the rest in the above, he too was only playing in order to provide an outlet for the money.

As this site is regulated in the UK, and advertises directly via social media, UK players should have a robust complaints procedure to fall back on should things go wrong (assuming nothing dodgy has been going on).

This would be interesting, Google being able to achieve what has so far eluded regulators. Too many operations have lawyers that tell them just how far they can ram the shaft in whilst remaining technically legal, and using this to fend off complaints from customers as "tough, you don't have a leg to stand on legally".

However, there is a dark side, fraudsters could collude in order to effect "blackmail by Google" against any large operator in the same way that the art of "black hat SEO" has always been used to make a dodgy outfit look like it's the best there is. I hope Google has taken measures to prevent any such manipulation of "sentiment", as I expect that the black hat SEO industry are already looking at ways to manipulate this new functionality for their clients.

I think they would be aware of this as it was similar with links: black-hatters could exploit that to harm competitors. How they deal with it though I have no idea.

Partly, although it is slightly misguided as Google have stated that these social signals don't affect rankings directly.

I have played at M Fortune for a few years now and once your ID is ratified they pay out no problems. The withdrawals show as pending for 3 days but once you get a text saying it has been processed the money normally hits your bank account 24 hours later.
