When Jackpots are described as only being able to be obtained via "Max Bet", what does this specifically mean ?

Max coins/line plus max lines ?

Let's take Intercasino for example.

When I am betting $2.25/hand all lines... can a JP be won ?

Sorry for the noob question ...

It differs from slot to slot..

I'm pretty sure all Intercasino jackpots can be won at minimum coin value as long as max lines are played.
e.g. Rapid Fire & Marvel random jackpots can be won on any bet amount, so can Millionaires Club if 9 lines are played.

Tell us which particular slots you're interested in & I or another seasoned player ( ) will be happy to advise!

Thanks.

I was actually referring to Intercasino in particular. My favorite casino so far... but i'm new at this so i'm sure i'll be checking others. I'll probably be playing at 32Red, Spin Palace and Casino Extreme though. Hopefully they go by the same structure.

thanks again.

No they don't - which I why I said you need to name the slot(s).
Intercasino is CryptoLogic software and has different rules to 32Red & Spin Palace (Microgaming) and Extreme (RTG).

If you're not sure after looking at the paytable - come back here & ask!

Good luck!

Most jackpots of slots and vedio poker needs you play the "Max Bet" with all lines to have the chance to obtain. You can check it in the paytable before you play.

And, in my opinion, for the jackpot no need your "Max Bet", still be the more chance to get with bigger bet(spins) you play.

Generally speaking, "max bet" means you need to play the maximum number of lines and the maximum number of coins per line [if applicable], but not usually at the maximum coin size.

Microgaming's progressives all have a fixed coin size, except for Megaspin Major Millions which you can adjust. But I'm not sure how that works - if I were playing max bet with maximum coin size and someone won the entire jackpot with a max bet of the minimum coin size I would probably feel a bit ripped off, so I am guessing that the smaller coin sizes would result in a proportionate amount of the jackpot if won. Otherwise, why would anyone risk playing with a larger coin size?

With Wagerlogic's Rapid Fire and Marvel jackpots, the larger your bet per spin the greater a chance you have of hitting one of them. These slots don't bother with the concept of coins and coin sizes, just a bet per line, so you need to make sure that you bet on all of the lines. I have hit the Hero jackpot frequently with a total bet size of $2.25 on the 9-line Marvel slots.

Realtime Gaming's random jackpots are a bit of a mystery; the game rules don't indicate if a larger bet size increases your chances of hitting one, but it probably does.
