Marty Davis - Gambling Wages rep trying to assist players

It is clear that Marty had not fully audited the account in question when he replied that the player had been paid. However, he can try to make amends by giving this issue full priority and informing us, with Acepedro's permission, on the outcome. I can only hope that the error was caused by the fact that Acepedro had been paid about two-thirds of the money owed to him and Marty thought that the job had been done without making a full investigation.

Marty, I have sympathy for you especially in the light of the work that you have done for many players but probably it would be better not to jump the gun in future unless you have checked all the details relating to the cases in question otherwise all your good work may become undone.

So you didn't already "audit" his account Marty when you had previously replied to my question to you regarding acepedro45 back on page #9 here where you stated.... "Hi Rob, Thanks for the link, ..............Yes this player has been paid."? What was that? Just another cloaked exercise in PR?

SOURCE

It seems you came out of the gate fairly strong Marty, but you now seem to be faltering down the straightaway!

I didn't want to throw to much at you at one time so that is why I brought up acepedro45 first, to see if you were capable of settling this one amicably.

I'll wait to bring up the "Million Dollar Baby" and their name that is owed by Prism to you after you have first totally settled acepedro's case.

You can thank me later bro... ;)

He might have underestimated the size of checkbook he would need when he took this task. If the casino owner said, here is $100,000...go fix it, well, that just isn't going to be enough. It will be interesting what would be said, if Marty said, boss, you didn't give me enough money. I need to pay some more people.

No $hit!... :p

I think it is clear that Marty has totally underestimated the shrewdness and intelligence of some of the posters here at Casinomeister....;)

Marty thought that the job had been done without making a full investigation.

There's an old saying here in the south Chu.....

"You think in one hand and shit in the other and see which one gets full the fastest!"

One more for ya bro... "You think twice and you'll be the genius in your family!"

There is also the possibility (given the dubious history of this group) that certain accounts marked as paid were in fact not, or were only partially paid.

Marty certainly needs to tread extremely carefully as he navigates through this company.

What Marty needs to do is some serious 'Due Diligence' before he makes bogus statements as he previously did regarding acepedro45 being paid, if he really wants to be taken seriously here!

No offense Rob but you gotta chill a bit on the "Marty bad!" stuff.

If it's for good and real then that'll come out in the long run. And if it's just a big scam-o-rama then we'll soon be chalking that up too.

My point is that constantly berating the guy and slandering him all the way back to the Mayflower isn't really doing any of us much good, IMHO, least of all the folks that might get payed out while this process (whatever it is) plays itself out.

Sure Max, thought I was only making factual statements here though...

Anyway, before I leave this thread, just one last word for Marty here...

What do you do when placed in a potentially compromising position? What do you do when ethical behavior, integrity, corporate due diligence and client privilege collide in a cacophony of opinion and negligence? How do you survive when you find yourself in the absolute middle of this vortex Marty?

Yes, not saying otherwise, but beating the snot out of the poor guy with 'factual statements' is still beating the snot out of the guy. You can see what I'm driving at can't you? Moderation in all things, observe the golden mean, yadda yadda.

It's just that the point has been made, driven home, plowed under and pretty much pushed out the other side.

All I'm saying is that what really counts is not bruises but results, and to that end we should be feeding Marty every unpaid player on the books, no? If and when he can't step up then, voila!, we have our answer. Until then ... yes? No? Are we both at the barbecue here?

Yes, agreed Max...

I'll wait before posting again about the "Million Dollar Player" still owed by Prism, until we see whether or not Marty can step up to the plate here and do the right thing for acepedro45.

Absolutely, one step at a time. And certainly it sounds like that one should be in the queue!

Hi Rob! Are you thinking about Pirate? I seem to remember that Pirate settled the 1.3 mil claim and signed a non-disclosure agreement. That was during my lurking days in 2004. Is there another million dollar baby out there?

Yeah, if there was an NDA signed, there will be no discussion from either party.

Admin note: Marty Davis Account Closed

Due to what I feel that this board is being exploited by the Virtual Casino group, I've closed Marty Davis's account until further notice. I know this will piss a lot of people off, but I did not give this group any "go-ahead" to use this site to deal with player issues. We are done with them for now.

Sure, there may be a number of players that could be still owed, but I was speaking with RTG this past week in Montreal and there is no problem whatsoever for players to submit claims via the Central Disputes Center:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
They need to use this system, and make this system work for them.

If you have an issue with any one of the Virtual Casinos, please feel free to submit those complaints there. If they are slow to respond, please PM me and I'll give the appropriate people a heads up. We will not be entertaining further Gambling Wages complaints here at Casinomeister. Thank you for your understanding.

Nope, Pirate was owed by Hampton Casino...this is another peep I'm talking about.

Marty Never Responded

Well now that Marty is gone, it is sad because I was hoping he would get the dilemma that I had with VIP casino straightened out. I had won a few thousands and never got it. He did PM me and told me that it had to do with the type of bonus I had but that he was going to try and get something worked out. I didn't bother him, I knew he had his hands full here, however, he never got back to me. Since Brian closed his account I have called the toll free number that is listed on the first page (twice) and I have send him a message through his regular email, however, he has not called or written back. I was really hoping that he would get this straight, it seemed he was trying with others. :( So Marty...if you "can" see this, please get back with me.

Thanks...Linda

Situation Solved

Just an update to say that Marty did respond and the situation has been resolved. I want to say thanks to Mysticjoz that sent me the private message on how to get a hold of him now. I also want to say that I wish that Brian would allow Marty to continue to make things right with people. I know that there has been a problem with this casino group, however, there has not been a problem with this man. We should not be judged by what others do (MOP), and if he is trying to help then isn't that what this is all suppose to be for anyway? For him atleast "trying" and "succeeding" with many folks here should mean something. Again, this is just my opinion, however, I do wish all of you the best. I truly believe this man is trying to resolve the issues at hand, and from what I have read he has a "full plate", but again, he is making progress. Everyone CAN change if they really want to change! Thanks everyone for your blogs, I read them every night and I feel as if I know some of you already, and that in the casino world is comforting!:D
