Hi there, just wondering if this is correct:

I was bored with no available funds so decided to try a NDB at manhattan slots.
The offer was $50 free chip, 40x playthrough, max payout $250
deposit of $21 required to cash out

I met the playthrough and withdrew $246, I then deposited $35, asked the live support if I could claim a match bonus on that, which they said I could and did, then deposited another $44 and lost that as well. After sending ID in and waiting 4 days (cashier doesn't work over the weekend, WTH?) I saw they had cancelled the $246 and sent $211 ($246 - $35) to a DIFFERENT moneybookers address than I had specified!

OK so that was a major problem but when I inquired as to why there was $35 removed this is what I got from the live support and I can't help but question if it's accurate:

info: You are now chatting with 'Roy'
Roy: Hello
me: hi roy
Roy: How are you today?
me: i'm ok
Roy: How can i help?
me: i requested a withdrawal of $246 but it was cancelled and $211 was sent instead to a different moneybookers address than the one i originally specified, i'm in the process of sorting that out now but i want to know why $35 was removed from the withdrawal
me: it seems because i deposited $35 and claimed a match bonus, but when i asked beforehand if that was OK to claim a match bonus on that $35 i was told it was fine
Roy: 1 moment
Roy: All bonus that are given, are none cashable
Roy: they are always removed when you cash out
me: i understand that but the $246 was from a NDB
me: that withdrawal had been pending for 4 days
Roy: so if you think about it, you have been lucky, as it should have been $50 that was removed, not $35
me: the T&C of the bonus say maximum payout $250
Roy: Yes, but it also stated that all bonus are none cashable, if you reqested $250 you would have got $200
me: how can you say the maximum payout is $250 if it is $200?
Roy: the maximum that can be taken out from the bonus is $250 thats the maximum, not the minimum, say you have won $1000 you would have got the full $250, if you win $300 you woudl have got the full $250, if you request $250 you get $200 as $50 is remvoed first as that was your bonus
me: why did it say $246 WITHDRAWABLE then?
Roy: even if you had $1000000000000 it would say its all withdrawable but still you can only take out $250 when the cashier processes it
me: i checked when i had it over $250 and it never said more than $250 was withdrawable
me: seems very strange.
Roy: Its all correct, if anything you have gotten more than you should have

So, obviously I didn't want to push it as it was a NDB, but still seems dodgy right?

Sorry, there's nothing dodgy about it. Its simple, heres $50, play and if you win, you can take $250 BUT $50 is not redeemable for Cash. Hence you need $300 if you would like to Maximize this.

This is pretty standard practice at ClubWorld. Please also be advised that if you win on a deposit there is no max cashout BUT the bonus will be removed.

Is Manhattan Slots a reputable outfit? Has anyone had problems getting paid there?

I am new and was going to try them out. Thanks.

Thanks Bert. My only excuse is I'm brand new here, didn't know who was a sponsor or anything when I posted it.

Good to hear though, going to give them a try. :)

Welcome to the forum!

Go up to the top of the forum and look for a tab that says "Accredited Casinos". Look thru the list carefully as only a few take USA players (if you're usa). Stick with casinos on the accredited list for fewer problems and better help if something does crop up.

Oh... and be sure to read all terms and conditions at any casino - especially if you take a bonus.

Good luck.

Roy also is my favorite at clubworld. even if I get at one time a bit mean because of delayed cashout he is always informative and polite. I like Roy :) I know they did right thing on $250 max rule. Hopefully you enjoy them as they are a good guys in this I think mostly. Lately some problems but usually pretty good.
