Hiya guys,
Let me start off by saying that I respect anyone's opinion on this. I also feel tho that the comparisons made in this thread are crippled to say the least.
Should an alcoholic stop going to a bar to meet his friends ? (or should he rather just not order the beer?) - and should a smoker not use a nicotine patch ? (or rather just not get the nicotine from the cigarette ?).
I think the posters in this thread forget that gambling is about more than losing money, and I cannot express how hard I hope that for each and every single one of you - its not just about the winning.
Kindest Regards,
Enzo
I've got to disagree with you there Enzo...that's the same analogy that could be said that it's safe to put a pedophile in a room full of kids by saying it's ok for an ex-alcoholic to go into a bar and him or her not be terribly tempted to order a drink when their keen sense of smelling that drink is making their mouth water...
I understand your point there about gambling not just being about the losing or the winning as far as landbased casinos go but I personally do think it is just only about the Winning Online as there is not the opportunity for you to take in a show or get a limo comped to go out or any of the other perks that you would normally have at a landbased casino and you have to remember those endorphins that get triggered from that big win or also that big loss that will always come into play whether it be gambling for real or for free.
