LV Bet RTP Changes

Theres always a flip side.

Yesterday i played at a site where i have a deposit limit set. I dont normally bother but find more and more seem to like you having one so had one set by myself and the casino.

Upon reaching my usual withdrawal threshold (I normally withdraw fairly quickly if i make profit) i hesitated. The reason - my deposit limit.

For the first time since starting slotting i was second guessing my withdrawal because once i had emptied my account i could not deposit again. I quickly realised that im still spoilt for choice and can deposit elsewhere but the problem is if i had nowhere else to play i probably would have withdrawn less and left some in to play with because i had hit my deposit limit.

By taking away my freedom of choice the deposit limit actually worked against me in that it encouraged me to withdraw less and gamble more in that instance.

As for the RTP. The written word is often misconstrued with no tone or flowing discussion but its fair to say the RTP's should be basic information everyone knows about before playing and not hidden in some help file or away from the general rules. Its not in those places for no reason. No matter how innocent somebody claims it is or how some regulator views it, in my book its deceitful and sneaky the way its shielded, advertised and presented.

New players are conned by it every day.

I just stick to fixed RTP games, Its good in a way as I discover many new games to play which I may not have otherwise played.

Pretty much going through the whole thunderkick back catalogue of non nerfed slots and playing more BTG and classic netent (until they are nerfed too) I'm hoping thunderkick dont go back through their old games and start reducing numbers but if they do it'll just be more slots added to the dont play list, there will still be a ton more to play with decent RTPs,

my videoslots my rtp page is showing my lifetime RTP at 96.46% and that's how its staying.

a rtp doesnt mean a think for a fact i know blueprint in the uk when they release a test game its made to play better to pass test

and when it does issue another version of the game then updates every month as blueprint has brought the lincence for starburst for there auroura 500 cabs

So a few more games to watch out for with lowered RTP, they're even attacking the classics, Immortal Romance has now been lowered.

Even funnier (or sad!), are the two versions of Terminator 2 on Videolstos. It's just recently been re-made in HTML5 but they've now taken a further step and produced a 'remastered' 94.16% version. Hmmm, think I'll play the none 'remastered' 96% version thanks.

Scratch that, went to play the 96% version and it's now been removed (was there this morning), bloody hell.

This also doesn't give me much hope for Jurassic Park being revived in HTML5 in the same 97% guise as the original.

I was just going to post that I expected it to be removed quickly!

Sadly haven't seen it at any other sites either, wanted to do a hot mode hunt, but screw playing it at 94%.
Bet the 'remastered' / ruined version now starts popping up at other sites, they were probably all holding off till the lower RTP maths model was produced.

The question is... Have MicroGaming actually produced a HTML5 - full RTP version?
Because, it's not just the casinos who profit from the extra income, but the providers too

Yeah, the recent update was 96.62% (and thankfully just found that version on betway) they've also done same with Thunderstruck 2, which was recently 'remastered' and that is available in at least 2 RTP models (think I also saw it came in an horrific 91% version but might be mistaken).

I wonder if LvBet is seeing the anticipated increase in profit from lowering the RTP on certain games yet?
or is it being negated by players avoiding the lower RTP games, or even not depositing with them any more?

They added more games to the growing list of reduced RTP games last month. Will there be more this month?

It could be the start of a downward spiral...
lower some games RTP. lose some players
Lower some more games to cover for the lost players, lose some more players
and on and on

Do you actually think the common player check rtp or evne know what that is..

i was watching my brother play casino online some days ago and he was at casino with some Playngo games at 91% RTP , i had to tell him to stay clear from it and he replied 5% doesnt matter lmao :D

I'd say more and more players are becoming aware of RTP, although the majority aren't aware.
But in the case of LvBet, unlike a lot of other casinos, They're actually pointing out that the RTP has been adjusted...

There are also the players who don't know about RTP and never will. But who will eventually realise that their money isn't lasting as long as it used to, or they aren't winning and withdrawing as often as they used to, who give up depositing and playing because that casino 'isn't as lucky for them as it used to be' and only play at one which is 'lucky for them'

Suppose the proof will be in the pud - if they work out the loss of players > the increase from the lower, you may see changes: i'm sure some analysis nerd has done the threshold calculation and they'll be keeping an eye on it etc.

But, as most places are doing the same now, they must be all of the same thinking; they'd prob need a substantial drop in players/deposits before that happens

Talking of RTP awareness.
I'd noticed over the past few years (pre-covid), how few people play fruit machines in pubs these days.
But also noticed guys getting out their wallet as they walked towards a fruit machine, then looking at the RTP declaration, putting their wallet back in their pocket and walking away.
