Lucky Last @ RTG - truly random?

Hey guys, so I was wondering if anyone else noticed but in the help for Lucky Last is says

"The last free game has a 50% chance of retriggering the feature"

Now, with the number of times I've seen this thing retrigger for having a so called 50% chance, I don't think I've ever seen the 5 happen. In fact, many times next to no retriggers happen.

I understand when things say 'up to' XYZ value in the RTG world, the possibilities are heavily weighted.

That said, if the retriggering of this feature is controlled by the same weighted logic, can they really advertise the game as having a 50% retrigger chance, or is it horribly misrepresenting the odds of retrigger (similar to Bonus Reels in free spins removing major pay symbols during a feature, say)

I'm actually trying to keep track to see if the math adds up, but it's hard to get seeds.

If possible, can people track how many features they got and for a given feature, how many times retrigger was awarded?

I only have 14 seeds right now, will continue to compile data for audit....

I have worked out the math as followed:

0 retriggers 50%
1 retrigger 25%
2 retriggers 12.5%
3 retriggers 6.25%
4 retriggers 3.125%
5 retriggers 3.125%

If you notice, the percentage is with respect to the END STATE (ie. 50% of 50% of the time you get a retrigger then fail to retrigger which is why 1 is only 25% rather than the 50% you'd imagine)

The actual english behind the math is you get free spins above the initial 7 half of the time, which is to say the sum of the non zero percentages.

Also, the likely hood of 4 versus 5 is the same because 5 is the cap, therefore once you've achieved that you will only ever reach 5.

Anyways, for my numbers I have

0: 8
1: 3
2: 1
3: 0
4: 1
5: 0

Total: 14

I'm curious to see how the numbers line up when the seed gets higher.

Well, good luck with that. You could line up a million samples and you'll only get told it takes 2 million to get an accurate sampling.

Besides, if you flip a coin a thousand times and it lands on heads 700 of them it doesn't mean you didn't have a 50% chance of getting tails. The only thing you'll get out of your test is a long string of numbers that won't tell you anything and the only thing you'll get out of mine is a sore thumb.

LL was a pretty hot game the first time I tried it at INetBet. First bonus retriggered 4 or 5 times, I was very surprised. Other bonuses retriggered at least once. This was during a single session.

Went back to it later and it wasn't anything great. For some reason, the game doesn't appeal to me.
