My wife signed up to Captain Spins a couple of weeks back.
She has done ok, made 3 withdrawals, nothing big 50 quid and under, all paid out quickly no issues.
Today she gets this email....

Dear ******* ,

Following a review of your account, we have decided to no longer offer you bonuses or promotional offers. This exclusion from bonuses is extended to include all casinos across the entire network.

Please note that you will still be able to use all your current active account on the network as per usual. However, you are no longer permitted to open any further accounts on the network effective immediately. If you attempt to open any further accounts on the network they will be terminated and any funds accumulated will be confiscated (and your deposits will be returned). Below please find a list of casinos that are on the network:

Seems like spitting their dummy out to me.
Because she has actually won and not lost they act like that?
How pathetic, White Hat Gaming

I had the opposite initially! I tried to close down my WHG accounts but as I closed one, a previous closed one would appear in my e-mails the following day offering a 100% bonus - after the third time of this happening, I went on chat to complain ( I had initially been advised that the accounts could only be opened again at my request) - their response was to self exclude me across all their sites for the maximum period of five years :eek2:

I sure as hell didn't ask for self exclusion!

This is common practice from this group. Done it to a member here, he never mentions it however ;-)
In fairness they do offer superb match offers and at a regular rate.
Only had 2 withdrawals from the group in years, so probably under the bonus ban radar at the moment.
That said I do also play lots with real money no bonus attached. It’s the best way in the long run.
You got your winnings and where not banned so a good result really.
Bonus funds will soon be a thing of the past, not a bad thing either as it will automatically cancel out some of the horrible terms that come with a bonus.

I just think its a terrible attitude to have , especially for new customers.
Yes she has had a good run, and would of probably made more deposits on there, but not now
I , myself have a few accounts with WHG and lost a bit, i have also had some nice cashouts on SpinandWin,
never had an email like that though.

Oh well, profit made, not banned or anything like that, just that out of the blue really hit both of us tbh.

Yes you both had a good run granted. But they are entitled to shut shop if your taking bonuses and winning.
You yourself had a few accounts with the brand also as you said.
They are a business at the end of the day.
And if that hit you ‘both’ hard I’d probably count yourself lucky, plenty of things in life are a hell of a lot worse.

One of their Casinos gave me 20 free spins at 20p on Gonzo’s Quest. Managed to withdraw £360 from it. That was my 4th decent withdrawal in a week. They paid me but I received a similar email to go with it.

It is pretty common with this group. They don’t like it up’em.

Yeah I sometimes forget how old I am. There was a time you could use that phrase and everyone knew where it came from. They don’t make them like that anymore.

The same WHG who sent NDAs out to some customers who had been completely wronged to prevent them from disclosing info to the UKGC?

I reported them as there was no 'self' in self exclusion, merely a CS rep that wanted the final word!

It’s the online casino world. Hence why the UKGC are a fantastic thing.
No disrespect to the decent places in Malta, but for so long clip joints took the utter piss.
The silly terms and insane conditions, not to mention talk to the hand tactics.
Yes, it won’t be solved in a few weeks or months, but the swamp is being drained..
hence the massive amount of clip joints folding like a German deck chair at a cheap holiday resort..
good riddance, and bye bye I say.

Bonus bans are simply a slap in the face to customers and the casino giving you the middle finger.

If they don't want you claiming a specific bonus then don't offer the bonus to the end user nor send emails telling them about said bonus. They shouldn't be throwing their dummies out of the pram when someone clicks 'claim now' and actually manages to make a withdrawal.

I have nothing but pure contempt for operators that pull such stunt. Quite happy to entice a customer to deposit but don't like it when it doesn't go their way and the customer withdraws. SCUMBAGS.

The thing is, casinos keep telling us margins are tight, yet they're willing to piss players off and turn custom away by bonus banning...it's crazy. I know, as far as I'm concerned, I'm a LOT less inclined to deposit anywhere that treats me like that.

I mean, given the influx of lower RTP slots, how much RTP can you pull back off 10 min stake Finn spins a couple of times a week :confused:
