Lots of new casinos popping up with terribly slow servers

Has anyone else noticed this in the past 6-12 months ? , Most seem to be multi platform flash style casinos rather than download but all seem to have very slow play on spins , constant disconnections and error messages .

Anyone perhaps no the reason for this , is it cheaper to have a small selection of different game providers than purchase just one like netent or microgaming only ? Seems the sites dont have the capacity to run the games smoothly / professionally .

Yup there seems to be a slew of new casinos all offering a nice selection of platforms but at the expense of actual decent gameplay.

It appears that customer service and fast payouts actually usurp chuggingly slow spins and constant disconnects, probably because these sites serve as an intermediary to the host server and hence something is affected along the way. This is perhaps why some games only become acceptable during graveyard hours, usually between 2- 8 am or so.

You'd think these sites would invest a little more time in making the user experience a bit more tolerable as we are after all paying customers but at present it does look like a bit of an afterthought unfortunately!

Exactly ,

I sign up to almost every new site that has games i like to play , Especially with a sign up bonus , Ander after that first round of play i find myself never going back or just closing my account , Due to the gaming experience being a nightmare , there is no fun in constantly having to relog in or reload games every 30 seconds , They are losing customers as soon as they gain them .
Some verging on being unplayable , I find it crazy that the owners or management could be aware of this and allow it to continue , That's why i was wondering how expensive / cheap it is to set up one of these kind of casinos as it seems any tom , dick or harry has one now .

Yes, Most annoying with the lag and errors, Seems that they are running on minimum spend at our expense

It's a common problem with Quickfire and Oddsmatrix/Everymatrix engines. Pretty sure they must all run off the same server pool - on many, you can even tell if a win is coming by the lag at the start of a spin.

To be fair, this happens on other games too: like WMS games at Sky Vegas where you know you are getting a bonus if there is zero lag on the first spin but I never play with Quickfire or Everymatrix engines in evenings or at weekends now.

This is the case especially with the new operators - I guess they just can't handle the initial rush of players that are attracted by a new casino popping up and offering a welcome bonus as the problems seem to be huge at start and then die down. So yeah, do yourself a favour and let the new casinos get setup for a while before you get to depositing. It'll save you a headache as playing a game with lag on every spin and disconnects here and there is just a slap in the face.

Makes no difference how long you wait: just logged back into 666bet after a few months and tried again (inspired by this thread)it's worse than it ever was. Could tell in every free spin on TS whether I was due to win.

I've had just the opposite experience in many of the casinos I play such as Guts, BetAt, Lucky Dino... etc. Horrible at start but after a while the problems have gone away. Actually only casino that hasn't improved for me is EuroSlots but they've definitely been the exception.
