Longest dry spell - 2016 and longer

Eesh
Looking at my bank history,my last WD was last April 2015. yowza; that makes a yr long dry spell.
Part of me says 'dammit, throw in the towel', but thankfully, I still enjoy playing and I tell myself, and others, when slots are no longer fun, its time to chuck it in. And as said, since I still ENJOY playing, checking new slots and get entertainment value (not loads always, mind, as long runs seem far and few between and deps seem to fly) its 'bummer' not a wine. ;)

Anyone else got a brutally long spell running?

ps - no, Im not a tinfoil hatter. I dont think slots have been tweaked, rather, just bad luck run, which with slots, is expected to be more common than the good.

Mine was about 6 months then started hitting bonuses again like last night. So i feel ya. Granted i had a couple wins in there but it was not worth the cashout cause of the fees associated with the wins so just played them out till they lost. But right now on a streak so keeping to it till i see or sense the change.

Most of 2015 was a dry spell for me. Deposit after deposit I busted out. Only had a good period from Sept to Nov I think and at that most of the withdrawals were small with the biggest being €800 or something like that anyway. Prior to Sept I think I only had 1 withdrawal or something for the year. This year is going a little better but who knows how long my current winning streak will last? Chin up things will improve:)

Absolutely.
I dep within my limit, so it's money 'I expect to lose'. Doesnt mean I'd LIKE to lose lol, just that I go in knowing its the higher liklihood.
A few summer purchases in mind, plus the surprise move so I've my eye on where any wins are directly going.

But like bad days in life, you need bad runs in order to appreciate the good ones. ;)

Oh yes I now appreciate the good runs more than I did before and never take them for granted. I also invest my winnings on some good things and pay a few bills ahead. So good luck for a good run for you this summer!

Same. Stellar wins go to paying advance months in rent which allows a bit more gravy day to day and large wins go to practical purchases, like, funriture....things which are tangible.

I did quite well until i went on holiday just before Easter, since i came back i have done terrible and i held off from depositing for about a week and a half after i came back.

Microgaming is pissing me right off, taking ages to get features for about a 10x bonus most of the time.

Terminator 2 giving me loads of 10 - 15 x bet bonus rounds.

Think highest bonus i have had was a 60x on TS2 yesterday on Val spins with a bloody retrigger, had 4 under 10x bet in a row on Val free spins.
Even Odin gave me less than 10x bet on his 20 free spins yesterday with 14 dead spins in a row.

Tried a Sarah bonus round this morning because i dont really bother with her and thought she might be kind...... 8x bet.

Glad im only a low roller.

Moan over lol

That's terrible, I feel your pain. A year without a single withdrawal would make me go to the cinema instead I think. Even with only depositing what you can afford and are willing to lose that still has to suck hard.

For what its worth I have been through similar (although not quite a whole year without a withdrawal) and my usual response is to change the games I usually play until I finally hit something. I hope it changes soon for you.

P.S. Those games I place on my "never again list" when I change around - I find I go back to them at a maximum of a few months later, so much for "never again"

Think we all have these dry spells.
I had a huge dry spell in 2015,I think I couldn't make a WD for a few months no matter what casino or what slot I was playing.
To see the other side,2016 has been very good to me sofar. ;):D

I feel for people that go on these. I was on one when I first started the online thing. I could have sworn everything was a big scam. Im serious. I thought everything from this forum, the members and the casinos were all in on it. It was so bad that I just quit for like a year or more. I returned won a bit lost some. But at least a win felt like maybe it was real. But then I felt like I was being suckered in. I felt like the winner screenshot threads were full of employees luring people in.

I could have sworn all casinos that offered multi platform games were rigged. I could never win. Never. Numerous casinos, never came close.

A few months ago I was down a couple grand again. Thinking why the hell did I return. Then I came across 4 casinos. Trada, PlayOLG, slotsmillion and Sports Interaction. And from there, the wins have been outrageous. If I ran numbers, odd, rtp whatever. I think alot of people would be pretty blown away.

From down $2000 to up almost $12, 000 is really outrageous to me. And knock on wood, the wins just keep coming. Every time I deposit Im cashing out profit.

I dont know what to tell you. The only thing that worked for me was constantly trying new casinos.

I know the best thing I ever did was stop playing at 32red and allstarslots. Those 2 sites KILLED me.

So try casino jumping. Maybe that will help

I had a long dry spell going but part of that was me not hitting the cash out button ;( Other than that it's time consuming withdrawal process that sometimes gets me to give back my winnings. But I feel your pain.

You always expect to lose when you deposit, a withdrawal is a bonus.

Its just getting boring for me lately, if you get the odd 100x bonus round or something then its a bit of excitement and a bit longer playing time.
Its just when everything you go on stiffs you with 10x bonus rounds and its taken 300 - 500 spins to get them, then it gets boring for me.

Seem to be getting loads of shitty wins in normal play so thats keeping RTP up.

Had nearly 300 spins on Terminator 2 earlier on 0.30 spins and was only down a tenner, had a bonus round for 3.36 which includer the trigger pay in that.

I think this was part of my problem too. A $200 profit wasnt good enough for me. So id push it. Lose my winnings and deposit. Rinse and repeat.

Now I set a bottom line and stick to it 98% of the time.

Im actually pretty proud of myself how I can stop and just cashout.

For example. I played at Sports Interaction last night. I got up like $400. Set my cashout bottom at $350. Now I cashout. Dont reverse and find other things to do so Im not tempted.

I used to be really bad at wanting to continue to play. Hoping and thinking that jackpot is coming soon. Raisin my bets or whatever. And losing.

Ive even cashed out $100 profit before. Wheere before that was just not happening. I used to think "im not here to make a $100 bucks" LOL bad thought process.

Now all these $100, $200 and $300 wins have added up huge.

But yes, you have to get in profitville first to be able to make those decisions. And yes, I have been there for ages where I couldnt get there.

I seriously believe once I hit a bit of a bad downswing, I will take a huge break or quit. I feel like im the lucky one who defied the odds and I shouldnt blow it.

I think I have it in my mind, once I lose $600 without a cashout. Its quit time.

I was going to say, until I got to your last post, that your opening post is meaningless if you don't say what your cash-out target is.

Obviously if you just keep playing regardless you will eventually lose and hence never cash-out.

Everyone should try to set & stick to a cash-out target, whether it be Deposit x N, or Profit of $N, or whatever...
I know this is MUCH easier said than done - I often forget this rule myself.
In fact, I am going to go right now and cash-out a chunk at Videoslots (where I am £1,000+ up) before I go crazy & blow it.

Up until that amazing gesture from Rizk and you guys, 2016 has been pretty shitty all round withdrawal wise for me too.

Sure I post a handful of screenies and videos here and there but most of em are usually in vain as I bust out before clearing WR.

'Why take a bonus' I hear lol, well with a crappy small budget I have to shop around for the best 'deal of the day' simply in an effort to at least try and extend my session if things do not start well (which they usually don't :p)

Kind of a 'Catch 22' no bonus = fast bust, take a bonus = good hits but killed by WR - No tin foil hats here either lol

Only humble advice but I find an ironic way of breaking the cycle is to abandon the favourites and try games you maybe have never played or at least not played for a long time maybe, good luck:thumbsup:

Expectations change I think. Pretty sure I've had numerous opportunities to make a 'profit' but have often squandered the funds so as to bet higher and chase bigger wins. When you're lowrolling, depositing £30 and doing £2 bets isn't a realistic option, but building up £30 to several hundred over a few hours is what it's all about.

So when it comes to notable cashouts, I'd have to go back to maybe late 2015. Missed opportunities to make 2x or 3x my deposit and cashout is pretty high. It's a sorry state of affairs when I don't consider a £100 withdrawal 'worth it' anymore. Jaded Gambler Syndrome! Or just being greedy?

The year started well and I peaked at £2,023 profit back on the 21st March.

Downhill from then with currently a yearly loss of £981 and that includes one week of a self imposed ban because the money is going a little too fast.

Can't play this week either (well I can but stick to one casino) because I mistakenly reset the weekly deposit limit. Will have to play with the battle money, the free chip (with wager requirement) and battle of slot spins instead. Whether I can turn all of that into £981 is the big question, knowing my luck I highly doubt it.

Not good at all for me either. I am a very small roller so it isn't terribly affecting me. Like Jonmincher, I take bonuses to try and extend my play time. Just plunked $50 at Betat where they matched it, and it's almost all gone already. Oh well, I have the free spins to look forward to.

Let's hope some luck comes our way
