Lock clearly have cashflow problems and are probably close to being insolvent. Hopefully they can trade out of their problems and rebuild their badly tarnished reputation. Saying this, any reputable casino really should have large cash reserves in the bank to cover unexpected big wins or other contingencies.
The lesson here is to only play at big casino groups which have substantial cash backing (either private or shareholder capital) instead of these 2 bit start ups who trade on a shoe string budget and hope to get rich running an online casino, which is far more competitive than they realise. Apart from 3Dice I generally only play at casinos which fall under the above rule, whether accredited here or not (32 Red, Spin Palace, PartyCasino, William Hill etc).
If I win big I want to have some confidence I will get paid. None of the above casinos are going to go bust anytime soon. They are also far less likely to manufacture reasons not to pay a player their legitimate winnings. This is because their commercial reputation is too valuable to put at risk and negative publicity is not good for business.
