New Slot Announcement LIL' DEVIL by Big Time Gaming...

I think BTG filled the gap in the market for HV jinks to initially cater for a niche audience.

Along came Bonanza's success, and their subsequent games have gone into the super-HV cosmos. Maybe they're just doing what they've always set out to do and the little fry (us) expect too much

God that felt dirty typing that
And the total failure from other devolpers to see where the market was going, decide to take a megaways license to recover some, and now the casinolobby is full of ultra high variance games.

Read our BTG review and find out where to play BTG slots

I wouldn't even say the megaways base games are HV. They're low to medium volatility with a high base game RTP. Hence why on many of them it's nigh on impossible to trigger the bonus. Only the bonuses of these games are high volatility, owing to the way the RTP and maths is constructed.

True, but most people play a certain slot for a feature and not for a base game( I think ;) but the introduction of megaways gave the devolpers new options which they didn't take.

I mostly like BTG "innovations" but it's a shame that they take away from the game. "Forcing" a gamble on free spins (extra chilli WWTBAM) a shit basegame on white rabbit ( force feature buy) collecting teases which turned out to be quite hard ( Lil Devil ). Don't even start about Book of God's .... A game like Opal Fruits is in my opinion the way to go ;)

Opal Fruits is my go to slot. Best BTG slot in ages but has gone under the radar with most reviewers.

It's funny how we're all sold on the idea of Megaways, on the premise that there's a multitude of ways to win, when all anyone really wants Megaways for is the bonus really

I can't be arsed to try and search it on here, however I distinctly recall my first megaways related post being something along the lines of

"117,649 ways to lose more like!"

That is terrible gameplay, as yes they all seem to vanish when they are picked.

Its no secret that they use different sets for each symbol, DHV, and many others of this type do it. Its not realistic to think it could or should use the same set for each. Im not saying this is, but very often on these type of games each symbol / set is very similar in value, just different volatility etc.

Christ this game today. £820.66 to collect all the hearts at £1 stake.

Paid 8x.

Thank you Nicola (I'm not inserting any £ signs in between the letters of your name on this occasion :p ).
Your post just confirmed my worst fears, had I chosen to continue the chase of futility.
That's "oops my laptop just became a projectile" rage-inducing disgustingly bad. A proper kick in the teeth.

I'm starting to think there is only one way to play this. The old post-cashout leftovers strategy.
Cashout, leave £25 (or x bets) behind, hope to collect a few hearts or trigger a quick feature, rinse and repeat,
then EVENTUALLY get your so-called enhanced feature.

And then, regardless of the result of that enhanced feature, straight to the banned list for all eternity, where hopefully it will rot in hell.

Making it a "starter game" seems to be a very bad idea. And possibly, a ruinously expensive one.

Surely if one were to do a quick smash & grab on this there's be little to no incentive to carry on playing. More a question of 'Well you'll be waiting a while for the next big hit, sucka!', given that the base game alone is as stated, rather ruinous :eek2:

I'm guessing the disparity between the haves and have nots is rather large on this particular beaut

This game is much worse than DHV and Bonanza put together,in my view. I see people posting winner screenshots(not necessarily on here) when they've had a decent bonus after filling up all the hearts but how much has it cost them to get there? You'd most likely have better returns from a feature buy on it.(Not here in the UK at the moment though.) Not a fan but do play a few 0.40 spins just to see how the base game plays and its often not too bad,but I'd say that the regular bonuses don't really work as well as DHV for me.

Adding mine to the list -> 288x stake and got £16. Looks like I got off lightly.

Come on guys all you need to do is become a streamer and play live and use the mythical streamer button for big wins.

It took me around 400xB to get the hearts filled, then another 350x for another one. Inbetween across the two chases I had a grand total of four bonuses which all paid fuckall. The "big bonus" paid 5x and 15x respectively.

.. What a sack of shit.

I do have an issue with this to some degree. It may seem to seasoned players, or to be honest, anyone who’s played DHV for more than 2-3 bonuses, obvious that the slot uses a different reel set for the bonus. However it is not made very clear in the help on the slot itself. I’m sure if you dig down to the other help screen wherever that may be it may tell you but it’s not good enough to say it’s pretty obvious.

Not sure why the slot could not be designed a bit differently to avoid this. Why not just have extra wild symbols added to the reels? By having a symbol be selected for you it is only natural to feel a 9 will give a significantly better feature than a skull. Whilst there are benefits to getting a 9 (although bizarrely not the best symbol) it is not as pronounced as it should be. Adding in the changed reel sets just adds to the frustration of what is essentially just an unnecessary gimmick pre-spins. I feel the feature would be just as good without it, perhaps more so. Still DHV has been a huge success so what do I know!

They have to replace the reel strips for the bonus, otherwise in gates the RTP would be about 200% unless it chose skulls and bells 99% of the time!

It's done the way it is so that the maths works out.

That would be about right, 200%, money back for the base game that shafts you relentlessly for a 1000 spins :p

I think it cost me over £100 on 20p stake to collect the 40 hearts, the 'special' bonus was about as enhanced as man utd are under ole gunnar

Reduced bets to .40p a spin, 1000s of spins later still no win bigger than 200x

Truly the worst slot ever made, the best slot ever made for BTG, one big money grabber....disgraceful

Not quite. All I'm saying is that, rather than picking a symbol which then has a certain weighing imposed, ie. a 9 with something like 10,9,11,10 occurences on reels 2-5 (or whatever it is), it just picks a wild symbol wieghting instead. If it picks the equivilent of a 9 then there are a few more wilds per reel then if it effectively picks a skull. That way you don't suddenly get disappearing symbols and the slot plays pretty much the same. Some features will be better than others. I guess there is some math impact as the way it currently is designed, the chosen symbol is effectively vastly reduced in number between reels 2-5 but nothing that can't easily be tweeked.

The way it is currently designed is to make you think you are gaining a significant advantage when it gives you a number/letter symbol over a premium when there really isn't a huge difference. It even weights the symbols so other symbols are demonstatively better than a 9.

It's not a major gripe to be honest but appears to be one of many design features incorporated into slots these days to do nothing except wind the player up although this one would likley now be way out of my top 10.

The problem with that approach for the player is that it makes the game feel terribly rigged and loaded.

Get a bonus with the 9, no 9s. Get a bonus with the Q, no Qs but all the 9s are back, and so on.

It's like they've tried really hard to make a random game feel non-random and unfair.

Using different reels for a bonus round is one thing (and not that unusual), but to have different reel sets for every symbol is something else.

They do use loads of different reel sets for the bonus I believe indeed..
But still 9's and 10's should occur way more in theory than the top paying symbols but I agree with you and said it before..
It is all pre determined, the reels are just eye candy or not most of the times..

Gave it one last try last weekend, 4 features at 0.50c before the "enhanced" feature kicked it.
Did cost me around 200 Euro on 0.50c bets to get the 40 hearts.

The 4 features I divided, so 2x the Angel Feature which paid 7x and 21x and the Dynamite Feature which paid 6x and 18x.

The enhanced feature then I picked the Angel Feature and I got the 9 as wild symbol.
First 5 spins!!!! not a single 9, then it landed 1 on each spin leaving me with a whopping 4x for the enhanced feature.

It is a pure vile and rotten slot, has nothing to do with entertainment and a fair chance of winning.
It is a righteous money robbing slot with dire paytable / mechanics and maths.

DHV has given me many good wins, this as a follow up slot is an absolute disgrace.

Exactly it is 100% anti entertainment and just pure money sucking for BTG

I genuinely don't see all the bile is justified. I've played this slot in demo a couple of times and the first feature was over 100x, second 200x. Didn't even trigger the enhanced. I've also seen a friend hit well on it within 25 spins of opening the slot in real play (350x).

It's nothing but a typical high variance slot.

I feel the same about other high volatile slots people rave about because I've never seen them hit. It's the nature of the beast.

Return to them or not, though I'm sure most do, just the fact players x y z have poured money into their slots is all they care about.

BTG are still in possession of say a couple of hundred £ off the average player. Which kind of makes them the winner

Wrong this slot is very very wrong, it plays like ultra high variance but without the pays, BTG slots always well hyped, have a look on You Tube, 1 mega win of 10,000 thats it, 100s of mega wins on DOA2, this slot is just total death.

...and to call it the enhanced feature when it never is, just blatantly laughing in their customers faces.

Well we'll agree to disagree. The fact of the matter is it gives back (96%) in RTP so it is not like they are ripping anyone off is it.

BTG are the masters of this runaround now. Massive leakage of rtp in the base game, get a one in a thousand feature hit on you tube.
Watch as everyone tries to replicate the (almost) impossible. Oh is it another 20p stake too? Funny that.

Remember the glee from them after the Holy Diver big win on here? Only took about 50 of us playing 3 weeks to get something approaching a big win. Meanwhile the rtp holds up from all the near misses.

Rinse and repeat. They must piss their pants everyday reading the Bonanza thread.

RTP is a kind of ... I don't know how to describe it.. thing!

I don't know also, how many spins they do before a game passes the test. But I understand very well that 96% RTP of 5 million or 96% of 20 million spins makes a very significant difference.

Bonanza for one is leaky as f. All that pointless upping and downing of the balance you get for “extra play time”?

Thats why when you eventually hit your massive win you realise you’ve still only got back 80% (if your lucky) of the money you pumped in. But the rtp has done exactly what it says on the tin. And thats why the casinos love them so much.

If BTG are as bad as everyone on here say they are, how come I've had the majority of my cashouts courtesy of their slots? Them and PlaynGo.

BTG raking it in with a disgusting slot, who remembers their own account putting fake wins on here a couple of years ago?

BTG not to be trusted

I wonder how the guy who apparantly decided to do that managed to get employed there in the first place. I mean, if what BTG said is true, that 1 employee made the decision on his own initiative (I fail to keep a straight face everytime it comes to mind) ..
Well, lets face it, you have to be one absolute plum to to take it upon yourself to fake a screenshot in order to promote a company you work for, where the best case scenario is that no one will notice and you personally will not benefit from such an immoral action whatsoever, and the only other scenario is you'll probably get fired if ever found to have done it.

I know there's a fair few people on this planet, but I just can't believe someone capable of being employed there could actually be that stupid..so the idea doesn't really wash with me.
And tbqh it is the main reason I have never played bonanza :D The other reason, obviously, being the handful of genuine big win screenshots that are unfortunately scattered within 570 pages of crying, whining and furious anger :D

" Whaaat? I don't know what da f..k is happening now...oh my f...ing god! It is twelve thousand euro". As a rule, says a Scandinavian streamer during the bonus game on a new slot...:D

...And 20p spins no suprise, the only mega win posted on You Tube from Lil Devil is 20p aswell, BTG just stay well away people, the game is up!

I'm still playing this game a lot (well, autoplay in the background of course, it's way too boring to watch aside from the features) and I managed to beat my record last night, getting closer to that elusive >10.000x win. Pretty close though :)

Same kind of setup as the Q win (earlier in this thread) but managed to get both angels up to 12x this time. Like with the Qs: not a single A on reel 5 in 16 spins. So still waiting for that monster monster win ;)

Anyway, 7978x is an awesome result of course:

lildevilcc7978.webp

And believe it or not, but just a couple hours earlier I already beat my previous record, with a heartstopper bonus no less, those have been fairly disappointing up till this one:

5588x:

That final spin was more then 50% of the win because of the hearts all the way. Needless to say I managed a couple of really nice withdrawals from these wins. Makes up for all the money I lost on Cazino Cosmos ;)

We are all seasoned players here and not easily fooled.
You might be lucky as many many many players here hit squad on their slots, the win distribution sucks big time so to speak.

I like DHV myself, had my best wins on that slot from the BTG catalogue but that slot is only one of the few I like to play.
LiL Devil is so wrong, it cannot be more obvious. And I was so stoked when it was announced as the follow up from DHV.
Well it turned out to be a complete disaster.

Superb hits mate, but that is what I mean with the win distribution..
Many thousands of players will experience very low RTP sessions to pay for hits like that.
Unbelievable you hit so many big wins ons this, my RTP at 2 casinos where I played this is under 80%.

So basically just a BTG version of DOA2 then ?

I really love this slot, one of the best BTG slots. For me this slot has played really well the entire time, and i have done thousands of spins. My RTP on it on Videoslots is 108%, without having any crazy wins. The base game has also been really nice, 50-200x wins, far better base game than DHV.

Had a sick win on Betfair though, 4859x
115456

So i try this game today. First bonus i got when the 40 heart hits, gave me 90x. After that keep playing and got 11 more heart but 0 bonuses.

Is this normal for this game? that you can collect 51 hearts in row and 0 bonus in the game?
