Liberty Slots???

Called check kiting in the US and illegal too. With the passage of Check21 in the US, it is quite possible to write a check and have it be presented to your bank for collection the same day.

Had Silc just deposited the check and the bank tried to clear it, she would have been the one in trouble with her bank because of a bounced check.

I really liked Liberty Slots games etc. but because of this they will now go into the NO pile. :(

Good point, Nifty.

However, since this check is written on a US bank, it would then fall under US banking laws.

You would think that as careful as we have to be in the US depositing money to a casino, they would at least try not to rock the boat when they send you a check written on a US bank. I would want to be as inconspicuous as I could be if I was a casino and I certainly would not issue a 'hot' check to a customer.

Doesn't matter what they tell you, if a check won't cash cause there isn't any money in the account, it is a hot check.

It's totally wrong what they did to you silc.

You should be able to cash the cheque right away. Its lucky you didn't deposit the cheque and ask for expedited clearance....you would be up for two sets of fees. It's very poor form, and I hope you get your cash ASAP.

Just a timely reminder:

Do NOT take legal advice from anyone in the forums. There are no lawyers here (that specialize in this area anyway). You should only take legal advice from a trained legal professional. It's also important to remember that the law differs from country to country, and even jurisdiction to jurisdiction, and that most online casinos are not bound by UK, US or any major countries' laws.

Excellent points and thanks to you both for the understanding and information shared. I felt that I wouldn't deposit checks unless I knew funds were available which is now easy to check by calling the bank in question and giving the account number on the check if in the USA.

The bank teller that I spoke with sounded odd when she asked for how much because when I asked if the check was covered she hesitated and said not at this time. So, I will deposit it and wait out the 14 days as they requested (the casino) hopefully it will not be returned. My bank always puts a 24 hour hold on out of state checks and maybe by then they will have covered it. I do not think they should have sent an insufficient check myself.....bad vibes...

.

Silc,

So CS told you to deposit the check and it would take 14 days to clear. Why 14 days? Who says? Your bank is going to send it for payment and then who holds the check for 14 days? Doesn't make any sense to me at all. They have as much as told you that the check is no good.

Call me a little suspicious but looks to me like they are sending payments to make them look good when in all actuality, it's going to take 2 weeks for you to get paid.

I'm afraid I would hold the check, call the bank it was drawn on each day until they told me it would cash and then heist to the bank and get cash in hand.

Hi All,

We are in contact with the payout processor who issued the check and are investigating the issue. Please understand that this is not a matter of Liberty Slots' funds, but an issue with a processor.

Please be sure that we are looking into this situation and hope to have it resolved quickly.

If you have further questions or concerns feel free to PM or email me.

Thank you,

Dylan

Hi All,

We have spoken to the processor and have been assured that there are more than enough funds in the account since the issuing of the check in question and that checks are clearing daily.

silcnlayc, the processor has requested you deposit the check into your account.

I do not anticipate you having any issues (or any 14 day delays for that matter); however, should you have any further issues at all, please feel free to contact me anytime and I'd be happy to assist.

Regards,

Dylan

Thank you for coming here and talking with us. I have deposited the check. As I said earlier, I enjoy your games immensely...and love the idea of a 2 day payout...the concerns were, that, the check was not readily available to cash at the local bank (no funds as per the bank) it was drawn on. Again, it is always nice to hear from the casino in what might have happened.

.

Dylan,

It's great that you have come on here and given an explanation. These are the kinds of questions and issues that can sink a good casino. I hope there will be no further problems or misunderstandings as I like your games also and had no problem with your check. Hopefully you will stick around and be quick to respond if any other questions come up. :)

I thought I'd post my experience with Liberty Slots, for what it's worth. After reading some respected posters positive feedback, I downloaded the casino to play. I also had trouble downloading, and I almost gave up, but after about the 5th or 6th attempt, the casino downloaded. I played over a period of around a week or so, depositing somewhere between $500-$1000. Never won anything on any slots. I am a very experienced player, and the payouts just weren't there. When I decided to go back to my 'ol reliable Slotastic, I thought I'd cash in any comps I'd earned at Liberty Slots for one last try. I navigated throughout the software, noticed the explanation of how comps were earned, but for the life of me, could not find where they were located in the software.

So, I got on the chat, and asked CS how I go about seeing how many comp points I had, and how I go about cashing them in. The CS rep said, please wait and let me research.....waiting......waiting.....waiting....Me: Still there CS? CS: Yes, still researching, please hold......waiting....waiting.....waiting....after about 7 or 8 minutes, the CS rep comes back to tell me that that part of their software was not yet installed. ??? So, I said, well what about the comp points that are explained in casino info? And CS said, well your comp points have automatically been credited to your account between 3-5am each night. And I said, well, I've never logged in and noticed a balance higher than the few cents I ended my last session with. And CS said, well for example, we credited you with .58 cents last night. Hmmmm....Considering my daily deposits are at least $50-$100, that seems quite low.

Anyway, it's food for thought. First, that the games were so tight. Second, that the comp points section of the hardware wasn't even installed yet (or that's what was claimed). Third, that the CS rep didn't even know this and had to spend a long time "researching" the issue. I won't be back unless it's accrediated by CM and I hear raves. FYI

I like Liberty Slots game variety and have done moderately well. The comp points are confusing and yes they get loaded the next day.

I go there for variety and when I do win, payouts are fast and without issue.

FWIW,

I am glad the Vegas Tech Platform is back

I have yet to experience any good luck in my 3 or so attempts at Liberty Slots.

One thing I will comment on is the way their "Match Bonuses" work. The software is set up just the way B&Ms do "Free Play." You play through it quickly with only the winnings resulting from the bonus going in to your "Real Cash" total. Then you are locked in to 20x Deposit + Bonus and they only count .10 on the dollar for anything but slots. I think their bonus is a bad deal. That is just my opinion.

OK the bonus did confuse me. I took a bonus it said cash 50.00 bonus 50.00 then when bonus was done i was up like 500 I went to live chat to find out if i could withdraw and she said no i had playthru left I said wait it says 000 on bonus and she said didn't matter. So I pumped bets trying to get thru the obscene amount. Busted out. Like the software didn't like the confusion. Don't know if I'll play there again.

I would love to play at liberty slots. I like the software.

However, it seems they really only want US players.

My cashier only has 4 deposit options, 3 of which do not qualify for the signup or any other bonus, and the other is visa but I have mastercard but they dont accept it.

Seems crazy as they're putting off a huge potential customer base. I don't always take a bonus, but I do take the SUB to test drive and often deposit without bonuses if i like the place. However, I'm not going to spend my money where I'm treated differently to others.

I played with a free $10 for hours yesterday. A huge variety of slots some of which were quite interesting. Its a pity deposit options are limited, at least for me.

i agree that the deposit options there are a bit strange for have only 4 options to deposit but in the T&C´s of the site says

"ocasionally we will offer bonuses in excess of 100%. Any bonus offer in excess of 100% can only be claimed in conjunction with a deposit using a valid credit card. Other payment methods will not qualify for a bonus more than 100%."

but i do not see anywhere on the site where it says that neteller, Ukash adn money bookers can´t get the signup bonus that appears to be 100%

It definitely says credit cards only for the sub. Live chat confirmed it.

@Nifty-I only use Mastercard also, but I only have 2 deposit options, Ukash and Visa. I do occasionally get e-mails to check out all their funding options, but in my cashier those are the only 2 options I have.

I can see your point, I would feel the same way if it were me. But with me being in the US I don't have as many other options like you, and I admit I would like something other than RTG. Maybe you can try to PM the rep here and see if they can help you out with something. I would think they would want ALL customers no matter where they are from to be treated in the way. But that is just my opinion.

Good luck, I hope you can work something out.

It wouldn't make any difference even if you DID have a Visa card:

Bonuses are not available to players residing in the following countries:
Australia, Denmark, Israel, United Kingdom, Greece, Ireland, India, Lebanon, Romania, Poland, Russian Federation

yes i ask to the rep here too
only credit cards
it means that i am in the same situation as you (i only use mastercard too)

what i dont understand is why they dont put that on the general T&C ?

So, I gave LS a try......

I signed up yesterday to play in fun mode just to see the layout and games offered. Enjoyed playing in fun mode but not many hits. Woke up this morning and decided to play for real. I am so bored playing RTG right now and have been in a dry spell since December. Figured I'd deposit $50 get the 100% welcome bonus and see how things go. Went fast, I'll tell ya! So , I said to myself "one more deposit" and dropped $45 more into my account. There was an additional bonus added of 25%. I took it.

Guess what!?! Hit for $1200 bucks on the Cupid slots!:yahoo: Got the bonus round and made every pick to the top row without busting out! Had to playthrough a few hundred for bonus requirements. Hit another slot, Rameses(? I think that's the name) for a few hundred that aided me in making my cashout requirement.:)

My docs have been sent, a cashout requested ($1050) and will be awaiting my check! Will let everyone know when received!

Just to clarify, the 20x wagering on deposit and bonus only starts when the bonus balance is zero? If yes, then that winds up being more than 20x in total.

I've only played in free mode. Their Level Up VP has the worst payouts on the lower levels for a royal flush that I have ever seen.

I played a nd bonus up to $140 only to lose it all back. Might as well be playing in fun mode as despite emailing me stating they have a horde of depositing options one of which suits me, I was disappointed by still seeing only 4 deposit options in the cashier. I cant deposit or withdraw so what's the point?

It may be the same software as EH Group . . . BUT!!!!!

The RTP definitely does not compare with my years of experience playing in the EH Group--especially English Harbour and Caribbean Sands. I never liked the way they do their bonuses.

Another difference in the software is the EH Group would tell you where you stand in WR if you attempted to withdraw. LS does not. You must either keep track manually which is of course a complete pain in the ass--or chat in to support and let them check it for you.
