LARGE increase in spam

I've got the same email address for years and I always received 4-5 various spams a day, mostly from casino affiliates. Last week I started receiving 40+ a day and today I received 76 so far.

All of these spams have something in common, as you can see in the screenshot (all money/loan related). I didn't subscribe to anything recently and didn't give my email address to anyone.

At first I thought that someone subbed me to some spamming bomb list, but given the nature of the spam, I HIGHLY SUSPECT that some rogue casino(s) sold my email address to these spammers. I'd like to know if anyone else started receiving this sh*t last week?

Look, I receive a new one every few minutes.

I get about a hundred spam a day and about the only thing I use my email for is casinos. Id open a new account, but to what end, if I need a casino email anyway.

This is my primary email address and I've been using it for 9 years. I can't really change it.

I wish I'd not have used it for casinos.

I get the same type emails, but only to my yahoo account.

I don't think that it's just rogue casinos. I think some of the 'good guys' sell your email as well.

Interestingly, a few days before this, I got a "declined" credit card deposit (it was full and I didn't know) at one well known casino here. A couple of days later they emailed me with other deposit options (lol).

Then this happened. Hundreds of "loans" related spams.

Let me PM the rep.

My spam hasn't increased in the last week, it's been around the same forever. I get some of the same as you, (but not nearly as much as you) especially those dating websites. Zoosk, match, eharmony, etc...I also get many to increase the size of a certain part of the body, and I am female so it doesn't pertain to me. ;)

Spam email

If you thought spam email is bad try Lucky Nugget instant phone message everyday..now am i lucky or what!

I've has masses of spam starting 2 weeks ago too. The crap is from the USA and all mails have a Blue Square when you open them i.e. they are all made from the same template despite purporting to have different senders and addresses and services.

I too received SMS spam last year (wasn't lucky nugget though). The only way to stop it is to go to live chat and tell them firmly that it has to stop.

My ex-boyfriend used to get hundreds of these promising him a ten inch one. He emailed each one back saying that he would never chop 4 inches of it for anyone!! ;)

I'm using also one gmail account for gambling only for many years. Spam coming every day, but I just sending reports to SPAMCOP and domain registrar. Normally registrars block such domains for abuse and spam.

But imho the best way to know who sold your email address is just register any domain name and create for every new registration related to this company an email address, or just mail alias name, example:
BLALALA Casino gets blalalscasino [ @ ] yourregisteredname.com
1111 poker gets 1111poker [ @ ] yourregisteredname.com

And then just forward all emails from this to your one gmail account, if don't want to buy additionally hosting and just keep this domain name.
