Ok.. so i am having a big issue in regards to genuine harassment from formerly known as "Piggs Peak Casino"

I joined and deposited a good while back and since then each day ive been getting phone calls while im in work from the casino. every day between 11am-12.30pm.
I have previously asked both live chat and email to take my number off whatever promotions calling list it has been put on, and have advised the agents that i cant keep getting these phone calls when i am in work.
And they told me on every occasion that this would stop after chatting and sorting it out etc.
Ive done that 4/5 times not including emails too.
I literally have to remember to put my phone on silent each morning at that time so i dont get the head eaten off me in work.... my phone automatically titles the calls as Harassment now. as they dont stop! and then when you answer and tell them that they just offer you a deposit bonus! "Come play with us today then and well give you an excluive deposit bonus...i dont want to deposit.. im in work like"
has anybody else dealt with this before?

There's a great app called 'callblocker' which is free. It will automatically send calls from numbers you nominate from your log instanty to answerphone without your phone ringing. Then they won't bother ever leaving a message as it's proof of their nuisance calls.

It may not be the casino themselves but likely some spammy third-party marketing agency. Lots of casinos use these, especially for advertising (I won't name a big culprit we've seen on CM!) as it puts a safety layer between them and the huge fines they can receive for unethical or illegal marketing methods.

I loath phone calls from casino support wanting to give me a bonus. I remember getting these in California on my mobile while traveling at 3 am. Downright pisses me off.

The irony was that the only reason they had my number was that I was giving them a review and needed a number to give them in order to sign up. I could not care less about any bonus - I have a website to run. :p

Thank you! im downloading that now!

It's easy to use, you do get a small ad each time you exit the app to check the log or add a number to block (which is always running) but you simply press 'exit' a second time and it goes.

Yes! i totally understand what you mean! They do pick the most awkward moments!

I got one with no ads on it there :)) thanks for the advise! no more annoying calls!

You can block numbers without an app though.

I have a similar issue with OP but it's strictly SMS only. Getting really tiring. And unlike callers, I haven't been able to block them at all. This is because the sms don't appear to come from a number but their number shows up as "Bonus" or something as unoriginal as that.

I get like 10 sms a day from God knows where and I can't do anything about it except change my number

My phone even has an internal call/text blocker and it works great for both calls and text messages.
It's a Huawei P10 Plus and I love this feature on the phone.
Any Spammer or Scammer will be blocked and I will never receive calls from that number again.
Do the same for text messages.

Works great.

ON most phones nowadays you can block via your message settings. Simply exclude the £ (or currency sign you use) and the words 'bonus, casino, offer!, free spins, %, http' and you'll see 95% of casino spam dumped straight in your bin without a message alert. Then check it once a month and mass-delete the filth without ever reading it.
There is ONE thing to beware of - if people send messages with 'http' or 'www' in it's filth 99% of the time UNLESS you are having a parcel tracked whereby the courier sometimes send you a tracking link. Be aware if you're expecting anything.

UPDATE: Jackpots in a flash have now called again, and even earlier than usual, ive now been warned at work over calls during business times..
i litterally got told yesterday that ive been taken off the callers list and that i wont be bothered during the morning hours at least for 48 hours or so...

hey i just checked my calls history (because Guildford sounded familar) and there it was. that same number.

blocking it was easy, just holding your finger over the number brings up more options, one of them is block number but i didnt want to do it because i want them to call me again, just for fun :p

I have a shitty Motorola e3 it doesnt give a block option when i do anything like that :/

UPDATE:They are still trying to call... i have missed calls, and was advised 96 hours ago that i would not be getting any more calls within 48-72 hours. Lol

For Android users I recommend this one, I have been using it for at least 5 years and it works flawlessly really worth the £1.59, theres a blacklist and a whitelist for numbers you want to block or allow, and if you really don't want to be disturbed, theres an option to block all numbers except your contacts!. It also has a block SMS function as well.

piggs peak is digimedia and these guys have been changing alot...for the worse. They are a sister casino to gaming club, platinum play etc. I used to play there multiple times a week until they changed their management and then all things went to hell

Same here, i played at the sister sites a few years back and was great casino then, but yes management change really ruined it, was very promising at one stage!

Can't find a way to do this on Pulse which is the messaging app I use. Can't use the default one because I need features that Pulse has, such as notifying me even when DnD is enabled if it comes from a specific number.

On pulse I can blacklist the message when it comes but it doesn't seem to work, it doesn't seem to understand its not a number its blocking so when same sender, called "bonus4u" sends the same shitty message I get it again despite being already blacklisted.

I dunno then. I was just using the generic Samsung setting on the messages under the 'more' option.

I would remind them that if you haven't chosen to receive any marketing material or offers through certain channel, it's illegal activity for casino to keep doing so. Many are using these automated calling system where just some recorded message tell you what great offer you have now, is it real human calling you or machine? If human, then it's really plain rude and any technical issue can't be even used as an excuse which don't make difference them to make these calls if you haven't agreed to receive them.
