The Jackpot Factory casinos have been removed from the Accredited section and are now listed in the Reservation:

My explanation there is pretty much it. You can't confiscate winnings via "spirit of the bonus" clauses and remain accredited. I'm sure normal players won't have issues, but advantage players will have issues there.

Pretty sad when you figure this group has been on the site since 2002.

This is just a part of Digimedia, so this approach is likely to spread throughout all Digimedia casinos. There is already a forum thread about this happening at the Red Flush group (more recently taken over by Digimedia), with the only thing missing is a PAB from the player concerned, which he has been urged to proceed with.

Players should at least be aware that this might be a corporate stance, rather than something being implemented by local (as in ex Jackpot Factory group casinos) management, and that we have just seen the first verifiable signs of this at former Jackpot Factory group casinos.

Some of the casino groups are separately managed. As you may recall, Fortune Lounge had some bad terms that caused them to be removed, yet they rewrote them and were reinstated. What is happening with Jackpot Factory is entirely different.

And it's an absolute shame. JF has been on Casinomeister for nearly 13 years, and they have seem to have gone astray.

After clicking your link I saw that the Palace Group had also been moved from Accredited to the Reservation (I hadn't noticed that before so don't know when you did that).
However, you are still listing the old Referback Group casinos as Accredited, even though they were taken over by Palace Group in August 2014.
Looks like you have more work to do - sorry about that! ;)

Now run by Buffalo Partners (Palace Group):
Gaming Club
Jackpot City
King Neptunes
Lucky Nugget

They were fine for 13 years, yet decided to throw it all away as soon as they were bought by Digimedia. This is why I feel this stems from an edict right from the top, rather than being a sudden U-turn from local management who have decided to turn rogue after nearly 13 years of being well respected. Maybe the edict has filtered down faster at the old Jackpot Factory, and is only just arriving on the casino floor at Red Flush group, whilst Fortune Lounge did turn to the dark side, but had a rethink so came back on board.

I thought the old Belle Rock casinos were also Digimedia (it said so on their websites), yet it seems they are actually Palace Group. This only makes sense to me if Palace Group are themselves part of Digimedia, but again managed separately like Jackpot Factory, but with some edicts coming right from the top.

The whole lot moved in unison when it came to the decision on whether or not to pull out of the UK; no sign of local management having the independence to make their own minds up there as I am sure some of the brands had more UK players than others, so would have been a suitable host for UK players, including others in the Digimedia empire with fewer UK players moving theirs over to a UK facing subsidiary.

Given the high profile UK TV advertising, All Slots would seem to be the one brand that could host the UK players, as the advertising probably lead to them having a considerable UK player base prior to the new rules coming into force.

Where the heck have you been? I announced the Palace Group think back in June:
https://www.casinomeister.com/static/newsletter/2014/june2014/18june2014.php

You have been here since 2004 and don't read the newsletter? C'mon. Casinomeister is much more than a gambling forum.

The old "Referback" casinos are still accredited - same with Fortune Lounge and all of the others that are falling under Digimedia's wing. They are managed separately and if they abide by the CM standards, then all is good. Right?

Looks like I am not subscribed to receive the newsletter - I don't know how that happened

You say Wagershare were un-accredited due to lack of action by their affiliate team over intellectual property rights - fair enough.
My point was, that Wagershare (now changed their name to Buffalo Partners) took over Referback AFTER that happened so all those casinos are now being controlled by that same affiliate team. I would have thought that would mean all their casinos would have the same status; either all accredited, or all in the reservation.
Of course, that is entirely up to you, and you certainly know a LOT more than me about who actually runs these places - I was just trying to be helpful!

Cheers,
KK

What happened with Wagershare happened before the merge. So for me, it's a separate matter. If they want to come on board via Buffalo, that's fine by me. But in order to do so, they need to commit to the standards and agree to the Casinomeister philosophy on how to deal with players AND affiliates.

This is great news. Not the news that this particular casino group has 'fallen' but that somebody has the balls to call them on it and follow through. Certainly well above what I have seen from any regulators in my tenure here.

Thank you for standing up for all the players, and the affiliates, and the casinos.

Lets hope this comes full circle and the casinos in question takes this sign and mends their policy accordingly.
