I was just wondering if it's typical for Jackpot Capital to mail coupons instead of e-maling them? Today I won't complain none the less. I got a $10 free play and a 100% match bonus up to $100. Just struck me as a bit odd.

Jackpot Capital Mailout as opposed to e-mails

HI there,

We at Jackpot Capital, do both types of Marketing campaigns i.e. e-mail campaigns which are usually done weekly; but also postal mail campaigns which are done a couple of times per year.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us at support@jackpotcapital.com or you can also contact us here on Casinomeister. :D

Cheers,
Yasmeen :)

Received similar mail today myself. mine only had the 100% coupon on it though.

haven't deposited at this casino yet. (still trying my luck at another RTG)

I honestly dont mind it, saves my email inbox from clutter.

You should give Jackpot Capital a try if you get tired of the other one. They are really great. I was leery at first but so glad I finally started playing there.
Lots of luck!
Michelle

yes it is typical of them...i have received some really generous ones in the mail from them...the most being 100.00...

i also received the email from them today...but without the 10.00...i will be looking for the snial mail to come..

i also received the email from them today.
me too, but this is only a 20% bonus with 20x WR deposit + bonus, so the bonus, which comes with the mail, is certainly far better ;)

although i even got a 100% bonus during the month, as i was bored and was gone to their live chat and asked, if there is any bonus for me available and they gave me a 100% bonus code, which was manually redeemed from them, although i've used very their 100% bonus for this month before and had also very much withdrawals from this casino :)

So in RTG Casinos i think Jackpot Capital is one of the best Casinos :)

Payment always within 24 hours.

I have found this is pretty normal in the industry. I have often received Christmas and birthday offers through the post, as they can then send a card to go with it. For attracting NEW players, email is quite a problem because it usually gets seen as spam. Postal campaigns can be directed more effectively provided the country concerned has something akin to the UK postal preference service. This allows us to fill in a form and specify what kind of postal offers might interest us, and those that will not. Companies can then save money by using this information to target offers, and at the same time cut down on waste. I have put down a preference for "gambling", so I receive these postal offers, including the one from Jackpot Capital. Now that they are accredited here, I am more likely to try them out when the cold winter weather arrives, and there is nothing worth watching on the telly.

Jackpot Capital is my favorite RTG .
I have a quick question rep , I moved recently and need to update my address and such ...do I need to send proof of address again ? Thanks

I would say YES. The casino should ask for your photo ID again too, but must be prepared to wait for the government to update it.

The problem is that someone could have hijacked your account, and then attempted to move it to a new address to keep it. This is the kind of thing that happens when identities get stolen.

A recent BBC watchdog programme spoke of just such a scam here in the UK. Scammers were able to get a "redirection of post" by showing fraudulent ID. It is thought they did this in a busy post office, where the counter staff were under pressure to keep the queue moving, so were less vigilant. Once they started receiving your mail, they could steal your entire identity WITHOUT the need to have access to your address, or even the sorting office - the Royal Mail simply delivered the mail to the fraudsters.
The postal strike is thought to have been the catalyst, since many people assume the strike is responsible for their mail not arriving, so this gives the scammers more time than they would normally have before the scam was noticed.

The only way a casino can be SURE this has not happened is to ask for a full set of ID documents again, but from the new address. IF they know you well though, and have spoken to you over the phone, they may use a phonecall to verify that it is still you at the other end. It would rely on someone like a VIP manager recognising your voice, or you being able to quote details that a scammer could NOT get simply by stealing your ID, or receiving your post.

That's very interesting, because i've changed my living address about 2 years ago and changed my details certainly directly on all casinos and not even one casino asks me about new IDs or anything else.
it was enough for them, to tell them my account username and emailaddress and then my details was directly changed, either during the live chat (rival casinos) or with an email (RTG casinos).

But maybe it depends on the country where you live?

WELL, i just got mine from the snail mail, i tried to use it and it says coupon already redeemed...for the 10.00ndb...well i have been waiting for 10 min. now for live chat..

They feel this is enough information to verify it is you. If you treat your casino account number securely enough, this should be no problem. However, if the casino sends promos by post, these ALSO contain your account number, so the scam I explained above COULD give your casino account number to a scammer. I have even seen PASSWORDS and account numbers quoted in a postal offer - pretty insecure if your post has been compromised.

Maybe they know you well enough to be confident that it IS you, and have no need for further checks. If you are using the same depositing and withdrawing methods and accounts, this too would confirm it is still you playing, but from a new address.

As casinos get stung by scams, they update their systems from lessons learned, so they don't get stung the next time. This means that procedures may be tighter now than 2 years ago.
If casinos get stung by the "postal redirection" scam, most likely through credit cards, they will be more wary of changes of address, as they will see this had something to do with it.

Change of address on casino account

Hi silkprint,

Thank you very much for your kind comments, we try our best to please you at Jackpot Capital!

With regards to your account, once the address needs to be changed, we will need to have some utility bill/document of some sort showing that your new address is registered to the name on the account.

As soon as you have such a document, please send it in, so that your account can be quickly updated.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us either at support@jackpotcapital.com or here at CM.

Have a great weekend! Happy Halloween!

Cheers,

It is also my favorite place to play...One thing I don't understand is why it takes so frigging long to withdraw to quicktender

Anyway hope they are reading this.....While waiting for my transfer to QT and I will never reverse just on principle, I tried playing at 3dice for the first time...I was able to deposit, withdraw to QT in a matter of hours and redeposit again the next day but unfortunately blew it all. JC can take as long as they want but its a clear example of a losing business decision on their part. WAKE UP JC!!!!

Withdrawals at Jackpot Capital

Hi Stovetopp,

Thanks for your comments.

With regards to withdrawals at Jackpot Capital, I wish to confirm that we do process payouts within 24 hours of payout request, once all documents are on file and the usual audit on winnings have been done. However, the waiting period for processing of payout requests is much shorter.

Happy Halloween! :icon_twis

Cheers,
Yasmeen :)
