Hi Bryan,
Not sure if this is where to post this, but I think it is.
Since there has been some "hulla balloo" created here in ATBhttps://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/which-is-the-best-way-to-dep-withdraw.28019/

I thought that America the Beautiful should be the place for all countries to discuss deposit/withdrawal options, but instead of a whole seperate Canadian thread (which eventually would probably lead to a "U.K. thread" and "Australian thread", etc. etc. wouldn't it make everyone happy if CM would consider a New "It's A Small World" section. Uniting all of us on this topic!
just a thought. :)

Just my own opinion but I don't thing the title *Its A Small World* is appropriate in any way.
Something more along the lines of *Deposit/Withdrawal Options Globally* would catch the readers eye right away if their inquiry was regarding the topic at hand.
Perhaps if Bryan were to even consider starting a new thread on this subject, other forum members can offer their input on appropriate titles.

..............just speaking for myself, i think things are fine just the way they are as all other countrie's can talk freely and post about these matters without being worried about big brother unlike the u.s player at this time.......................laurie

Precisely Laurie. Why change the whole dynamics of the forum, which is OPEN discussion, because one country has legal issues? If you lump in the rest of the world's banking discussion with the U.S., then ALL of it will be hidden away, period. I'm sorry but I see no reason why the rest of us should be penalized because the U.S. players are having difficulties. Harsh, but true.

And why mention Canada specifically? Canada IS a separate country. I had some worries when UIGEA was first signed, that perhaps our government would follow the example set by the U.S. But, with the exception of Neteller, it's been two years now, and nothing has changed. If we were going to follow the U.S. down that silly road, we would have done it by now. We can play where we like (for the most part), deposit and withdraw how we like...we have NO restrictions. So why should we be restricted on this forum? Totally illogical..but perhaps I'm asking for too much.

There is absolutely NO reason for banking info for any country, besides the U.S., to be hidden away and not easily accessible to newbies.

Sorry Heather, I meant to quote this in my original post. The problem with that is...that we would just be back at square one. If you include the U.S. options in a global banking forum, then the WHOLE forum has to be private. The whole reason of separating the U.S. discussion from the rest of the forum, was to keep it private and hidden. Nothing wrong with a sub forum for banking options...but then you'd have to have two. One for the U.S. (U.S. Banking Options) which, again, would have to be private. And one for the rest of the world (Global Banking Options), which would be open and accessible to all.

I think I have a solution.

A separate forum that deals with payment processing questions (US/non-US), which would be open to all logged in members. If you're not logged in - you can't see it thus keeping it from getting Googled.

The AtB would be open for all - guests included.

I don't get what all the fuss is about a suggestion for another spot to discuss banking issues.

If "America the Beautiful" is just for us US players then that's where we need to post. However it has become a catchall for all banking issues. Maybe we (US) should not post in any thread for any other country but our own. Then everyone else located outside the US can post where they want to.

Then all would be happy, right?

I'm lost on this also? ATB is for USA players, so why would we need any other place?

Why not just keep ATB and add in another place for non-USA members to post about their deposits/withdrawals? (which could be open, and keep ATB closed off)

Exactly my suggestion also Just Play.

Precisely, but it's unfortunate that some members on this forum are unable to grasp the concept of ATB.

That's because you kept it simple Just Play. As usual, I rambled like a madwoman, lol.

Gotta agree with Pina and Just Play. The America the Beautiful thread belongs here at CM. The United States comprises the largest single nation membership here, and they have topics of legal issues that are specific to them.

From when the AMTB was launched...Important Reading at CM:

I've started this forum at the request of a number of posters and operators, and I have made this accessible to senior members and above (150 rep points or more). If there is a member you wish to give access to, please let me know and I'll consider them for admission.

The reason for limited access is that there has been a bit of sensitive information discussed throughout the board about payment processing that has alarmed a number of people. Instead of removing threads or censoring these things, I felt it would be better to make this more or less a private conversation. This forum is not privy to the general public or search bots.

If you are going to lump all payment processor information, deposit and credit options in other countries, and legal gambling issues under this roof, US citizens participating in this forum would lose this privacy.

If any US citizen is concerned about posting comments or suggestions to a post in a public forum to a question from another country, I suggest they do not answer publically.

I'm not worried the DOJ is looking over my shoulder; I am engaging in an activity that is legally offered to me in my country, as are players from many countries here.

I cannot recall where our Canadian friend Zack posted his original question, but it was moved at a member's request to AMTB, a forum he could not access to post to or to see replies.

If you feel there is merit in having a separate forum for Global Payment Issues (Non-US), perhaps a similar statement could advise US residents that they have a separate and private forum to talk about issues specific to the United States.

Unfortunately, our American neighbours have much to talk about, especially in light of MGs withdrawal from the US market.

Maybe Canadian players would like to see a social group? Canuck's Corner or such? Please, this was not meant to hijack this thread.

I have to agree that is is a small world, and so many of the issues concerning casinos apply to all of us gamblers. I am glad Casinomeister welcomes us all warmly:thumbsup:

Here's the deal. Normally, when I move a thread to AtB - I check who has participated in the thread and ensure they have access to the AtB section. Otherwise they would think that their thread vanished - not cool.

I effed up this time since I was busy multi-tasking doing whatever - and I didn't read it and forgot to let Zack in. Slacker be I :p

Anyway, the only reason for the AtB section to be "private" was to keep the search bots out. You have to be logged in to see it. And that is the way it is now - open to all members, you just have to be logged in. No prob.

So that issue has been resolved.

Further, I'll be opening a new forum for payment processing discussions - which will be treated the same - members only, no guests. This is mainly to keep the forum well organized and eliminate issues like this.

Slacker be I :p

Please see that it doesn't happen again. :D

Ha ha.....hope you know that was a joke? You know, sometimes the openings are just too big to let go, lol.

Jasmine, you ever thought about a career in politics? That is probably one of the most sensible, honest and yet diplomatic posts I have ever read on here.

What a great compliment Pina. Sensible and honest has probably kept me from a career in this field.:smilewink:

Hey Bryan, I wanted to nominate Jasmine's post above, but it looks like that option isn't available in this forum? If you get time? :)

You know what they say.....no rest for the wicked.
