This thread has been inspired by RichyJ75's post in another thread of mine:

I take no credit for the idea, but I'm going to pick it up and run with it. The point he makes in the post is:
I disagree with naming BetFair by the way, but otherwise what a great idea it is! It's so unbearably mundane to see a big name casino run an advertisement saying "join now and get £5 COMPLETELY FREE!" like I'm going to call in sick to take advantage of that incredible offer
Why don't the big boys just tell potential customers what makes them stand out? Everyone knows you can win millions on certain progressive games, but not everyone is aware that some casinos will shaft you if you ever do win such a jackpot. So why not specifically state "and don't forget, if you win the big one with us, we will pay you IN FULL right away. Something not all casinos can guarantee" (that last line alone will turn some heads).
Instead of rhyming off the same old swathe of games that everyone has seen, why not say "here at [trustworthy casino], when you win we don't hold on to your winnings for days like so many others..."
One of the problems nowadays is that potential players are completely oblivious to the amount of utter shit out there waiting for them to step in, so why don't the good guys keep players informed? Is it a secret? Are you not allowed to be honest?
If you ever watch TV you'll notice that practically all casino advertisements sound and look exactly the same, as if they are the same company. So newcomers could be forgiven for thinking they are all equal when those of us in the know, and who have been fortunate enough to find Casinomeister, know that nothing could be further from the truth.
"Sign up today for 50 free spins on Starburst!" would not be an unheard of offer from what is an enormous company, when what they should really be saying is "Absolutely no payout limits and no waiting when you play and win with us, so sign up today!"
In fact that seems to be the common theme with any casino advertisement; no deposit required, free spins for signing up, play us with pennies. Why not act like a serious establishment where players can actually play for and win some serious money?
God it makes me so angry thinking about it. What a golden opportunity to sell something spectacular but you'd rather we all faff around with a handful of free spins on a bloody awful slot

I am fan of late night TV and every night I see numerous adverts for online casinos - some of which bore the tits off me and I tend to find reading the small print more interesting than the ad itself. Why can't these big boys of the business name and shame the crap operators? Duracell rubbish the opposition, Fairy washing up liquid trash the competition, etc. Come on 32 Red/Betfair/Slot Boss/Paddy Power/etc, publicly say you will pay the progressive jackpot in one hit (unlike Brand X casino who kept half the winnings for themselves), state how you are properly licensed and regulated with certified games, how safe you are, etc. Shock and scare your audience as to what can and has happened and guide them to a safe place to play!
