Is it just me or are netent purposely landing scatters just above

I have noticed far far too often some of the following on DOA.....

Base game spin....the scatter stops one row above the top row on ALL FIVE reels.

Bonus round.....Wilds also landing one row above the top row. Thankfully, not on all five reels. Not even Netent are that twisted in the head.

Laggy base game spins....all the premium symbols, wilds and scatters in perfect alignment.

Stuff like that happening several times a session really gets on my nerves and is likely to put players with shorter fuses than mine on megatilt.

I'm so wary of the HTML5 version of DOA that I have gone from playing it at 18p a spin MINIMUM on the old version
to playing it at 18p a spin MAXIMUM on the HTML5 version.

The way Netent are implementing the switch over to Html5 is badly done in my view. Other game providers are managing this without ruining game play experience. But the netent programmers are doing a piss poor job on this. The teasers / near misses are so obvious in the "New" DOA that its a laughable. I was playing this slot a fair bit the past month, but not more. I have no issue with Html5 - its needed - its here to stay. But I do have an issue with Netents failure to incorporate a good player experience with the changes they are having to make.

Seems to happen often on flowers aswell, I had a 300x on DoA earlier so I think they haven't touched the rtp/pay structure. It just seems to try and bait more spins

Yeah, I have mentioned this before.

Do you start and stop reels on DOA?
You see the 5 scatters and 4 wilds lined up often.

And the times i have had 5OAK hats for a win is unbelievable.

No mate, I just play it on quickspin, but I change it to normal speed when the bonus round triggers and then back to quickspin once it's finished. I can't be arsed with that start and stop shit, not even on the old version. The less clicks I am doing when playing DOA, the better as far as I'm concerned. I put it on autoplay at 100 spins per time.

And yes, the hats DO seem to 5OAK quite a lot in comparison to the other premium symbols, even more frequently than the lesser paying boots and just as often as the lesser paying whisky glasses.

I only do the start/stop cos it bores me stupid otherwise.
It sort of gives me something to do.
I just let the free spins spin naturally though without clicking on screen to stop reels.

near 5hrs now at this point ni base game biggger than 5cups. but the previoous 40hours made me think of calling it 5hats or bust for a new name. they just keep coming lol. strange that ive only seen 5badges once in the past 45hours though... . had maybe 20 4xscatters but never the tease of 4in a row... its that bad im expecting 5 when, sorry if i ever see 4 on the first 4reels. ive only played this game for the past year and aside from the graphics it just feels so damn different.

Yes i noticed it too on DOA especially. The scatters above and also the full line scatters when you start-stop.

The real question is: are Netent a bunch of deceitful cack-handed gibbons?

Have they gimped DOA beyond recognition?

Is the gameplay significantly different?

Do the reels misrepresent potential wins and string the hapless player along?

Yes. The answer is bloody yes :mad::mad::mad:

When your next torturing yourself with a session on this new abomination, look out for this...

Recall the original DOA and how hard it was to land the sticky wild in reel 1, always gave that extra false optimism if it came ;rolleyes:

Now on the Horrible Trash Mucky Laggy 5 version, watch a handful of features and see just how many times, regardless of how fast or otherwise your PC/Laptop/phone is you think the wild has landed on reel 1 and then 0.25 seconds later it is no longer there :confused:

Load of bollox, all of it, yeah I've woke up 'On One' lol

I would hate to think they have gimped any game, tin foil hats ... yup. But with the very very clear changes to Twin Spin I now have my doubts.

The game play though on the way they are doing the HTM5 "upgrades" is just shocking. But we are just a tiny % of players, and netent wont give a toss
so long as they are millions of other unsuspecting players. Problem is ALL games will be html5 in time. All games!

And what is a concern is not one rep has commented to confirm / deny that no changes to the maths model of such games has taken place.
My suspicion is Twin Spin , I asked Video Slots on this and did not get a reply :what: makes you think ? :eek2::confused::confused:

You'll have more chance of hell freezing over, or getting a triple wildline following a five-scatter bonus trigger, than any rep from any casino confessing to gameplay alterations, and/ or inside info on how these warped games now run :(

True ... but a straight question of has RTP or Game Model changed in any way you would think if there was nothing to hide could be answered. But the answer from the players perspective is pretty clear cut. Just dont play the games we think "could have" been gimped. I was never a hard core DOA addict , but know many are ... its crap. All we need now is MG to follow suit with TS2/IR and BDBA ....Because everything else they produce these days dont need to be gimped as crap game play and lack of "thought" makes sure no one will play them anyway.

Easier said than done when you consider DOA is many punters' favourite slot, and now finding that Netent have ruined most of their portfolio with the HTML transition.

I'm of the opinion that these older titles are going to be pulled sooner or later anyway, that is evidenced by NE's shocking apathy towards migrating these games, and this is to make way for the likes of 'post-flash' games like Warlords, ie. pretty but low to medium variance eye porn
