There's tons of gloom and doom around here and I'm starting to wonder if anyone wins? Personally I'm ahead for the year but with all the money pit posts, cheating software, rogue casino's etc. etc it's like NO ONE wins! Any good news? Anyone winning playing at online casino's or has the industry come to an end? I find it hard to believe that so many CM members would hang around if they didn't win some cash somewhere. Is it just poor money management, not knowing when to stop, addiction or your just trying to drag this industry into the dirt? I'm not trying to be rude, everyone knows when I'm doing that, I've been warned :eek2: but it's getting depressing around here. If anyone has good news about winning please post it here! TY...

Well... I think everyone knows my answer!
I made a loss in September - but only $19.
I made a profit in August - but only $33.
Before that I made profit every month from July 2007 onwards, except November 2008 - average for that time = $953/month.
It must be said though, that the vast majority of my success is due to Ladbrokes' extremely generous promotions - and I know that unfortunately the majority of CM members can't play there :(

Anyone who's interested can see my month-by-month results

It's not black or white... Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't, but as someone just said, some casinos, like Ladbrokes' for example, have very generous promotions, which helps to win... that's all.

Don't despair, my friend.

I've played online poker for several years now. I did relatively well in the beginning, but for that last two years, it seems I have done nothing but lose. So I basically have stopped playing poker, and now I mostly play at casinos. Interestingly, I make much, much more at casino slots - must be my skill, lol.

I've been playing slots only since June, I think, and I posted what is my best hit this past weekend, deposit $46 in Superior Casino, and ran it up to $1,921 within an hour, lol. (I lost most of that back, sadly.) I've hit amounts that are not nearly that big several times, on different casinos. Do NOT ask me how much I've cashed out :D - I am so weak, lol, I reverse my cashouts all the time. But the larger point is, good runs happen all the time. I guess I play more for entertainment, as losing wins back to the casino doesn't bother me too much.

So yes, people are winning, I'm sure my experience is not atypical, since I'm not a particularly lucky player.

You certainly won't be winning that way! :p

I was playing at Jackpot Capital all weekend .
Deposited $30 bonus free Friday night and cashed out $150
Later I took back 25 and withdrew 200 [You can't deposit when you have a winning cashin pending at a RTG] ...I did that all weekend and my end cashin last night was $710 :) Not a bazillion dollars but I am happy :D

That's Rich! :D

I agree that it might look like spam.
However, everyboy who knows me ( In hundreds of forums, and the vast majority not even gambling related ), knows that that's just my signature, with the link and all...

Again, here it might look like spam, but that wasn't the intention.

You instead allow yourself to post CLEAR SPAM as well... How's that different?
Or simply the Law for one isn't equal for the next man?...

Interesting, at best... ;)

Hiya: Well despite my, "I will take a chance", attempts, at 0-5 results, I am still a little over 14k ahead..........Weeeeeee.

I few smaller cashouts is better than waiting and risking profit made, just to get a bigger cash out.

Actually you can, so long as you ask them to flush it for you ;) All star slots did this for me and paid it instantly. A huge thumbs up in book

Thanks AMB. I recall reading a thread some time ago where an accredited RTG casino stated that withdrawals cannot be flushed. If All Star Slots can do it, why cant other RTGs?

Poker

I've been an online poker player since 2005. I originally played on Party Poker till they left the US market and than I started on FTP and PStars. From 2005-2007 I made a decent profit of around $2200/Month playing $1/$2 no-limit. I only played about 20 hours during the week, after I would get home from work, but I would grind it out on the weekends playing around 30 additional hours over the 2 days. So I guess 200 hours on average per month is a little much for the money I was making but it was just a supplemental source of income for me and I enjoyed it.

After I first joined FTP and PStars I slowly moved away from the cash games and gave it a go at the tourneys. I made 11 final tables from 2007-2008 which increased my bankroll. I won two of the tourneys with payouts of $6500 and $4400. Than I went back to the cash tables. I moved up a level from $1/$2 to $2/$4. I also decided to leave my entire roll on the two sites as I was making decent money with my full time job and I decided I would try to run up my roll over the course of a year, hence I stopped my weekly/monthly withdrawals. Than I went on a bad run.

Some people call it the "doom" switch but I think it was the fact that I moved up a level and wasn't ready for the competition. The plays/moves I could make on $1/$2 didn't always work at $2/$4. I finally realized I was in over my head and decided to move back down a level after losing about 75% of my roll between the two sites.

Right now I'm back to my weekly/monthly withdrawals which add up to about $1800 per month. But...I can honestly say I have had a few losing months recently. I think this has to do with the compeition catching up and my game staying at the same level because I don't dedicate enough time to improving it simply because I just don't have the time.

Hopefully I can win a PSatrs Sundays Million or large FTP tourney and than be able to take more time away from my full time job and focus more on poker which I enjoy a hell of a lot more.

I asked twice to have my withdrawals flushed in CW and Lucky Red, my favorite RTG casinos, and both times they didnt do it. In this regard Rivals are ahead, they always flush any requested cashout right away.

Cheers Balky

Oooops that was offtopic.
I had a very good gambling year so far and up more than 3000 dollars, especially in 365Bet, Lucky Red and 3Dice. Will finish this year with a profit, since my gambling budget for the rest of the year is less than what i won.

Not true, but thats what they want you to think. On my Casino Titan cashier I asked and a few seconds later a deposit button appeared below the pending withdrawal. Now how many RTGs will turn that option on if you ask

Well if it helps.... I won 10.50 today and about 21.00 a few days ago. Not big money I know, but I now have a tendency just to quit while I'm ahead. A plus is better than a minus (comparing against the original balance at the start of a session). For this reason I think it is best to end in a higher position, even if it is classed as a small step. Saying this I will probably lose all in the next session :D

At the same time I also cashout the winnings on the same day. Not sure if this is a good thing to do often when using one casino. However due to my current banking setup, I have to withdraw asap, so I can begin to get the funds moving, in order for them to arrive in my designated bank account within 2 weeks (roughly).

Rival will flush requests? That's great - thanks for posting that info. I would be a little richer today had I known that last weekend. :D

<derail>

32Red will flush on request.

Though bit of a moot point given pending withdrawals are flushed automatically after 3 hours

If that's not an amazing feat. Payments are now processed 7 days a week. I think this is the norm for all accounts not just Club Rouge members/VIP's. :)

On ya Pat and Ed...You guys certainly cream the competition :D

Cheers

COOL

Glad to see some winners out there, big or small, a win is a win and I like to hear about it and others too! I do have a question for the senior members here a CM, what's the biggest jackpot winner that's visited the forum?? Just curious I guess. Please continue with your winning posts as the FOG is lifting... :) PS - My most current win wasn't on slots or tables but I took the Pat's over the Titans this past Sunday and hit a good lick. :D

Yep they are so easy when it comes to getting your money. Always either same day in my neteller account or the next morning - 7 days a week. Never a problem with 32red ever
