Losing Streak

Hey guys,

Am I the only one on a long losing streak right now?

I was checking one of the casino's I play at and my deposits for the last 7-8 months come to just over 4k with one withdrawal of $600. I only make deposits of between $30-$70 and don't play high stakes, normally between $0.80 - $1 per spin. Every deposit is a loss, and even if I get a bonus its normally dogshit.

Years ago deposits would last but it just feels like a deposit is a guaranteed loss and there is no chance of winning. I accept its a casino and I'm risking my money but it would be nice if there was a win once in a while. I guess I have to keep losing to pay for all the max wins the streamers keep getting!

To be quite fair, with todays volatility of games and the generally reduced RTP you're playing on a huge stake with your bankroll and it doesn't surprise me you're losing that much.

If you want to play 80c to $1 you should account for a bankroll of 3-4-500 times your bet to be on the safe side and see out the dead patches. With a deposit of $30 I wouldn't go much higher than 20c a spin and even then it could be gone in "seconds".

My advice? Take a small break to try and forget about the $4k lost and when you start playing again start on the lower stakes.

I think part of your problem is that your deposits only amount to 30-70 spins given your stake. Slots these days can go on dead spin streaks by those spin amounts. Try lowering your stake amount to $0.20 - $0.30 and your deposits may last longer.

Thanks for the advice, I use to gamble much higher stakes but due to situational changes I can't play like I use to. Personally I think its also due to the slot providers we have available can be terrible. We have providers such as betsoft or yggdrasil and I find them to be very volatile.

I used to use a spreadsheet to track every deposit and withdrawal at every casino. Also helped me see a running total of my profit and loss at certain groups/casinos.

I would be up tons at a bunch of places but never ever won at n1 interactive (well obviously I won sometimes but on the whole). After months and months of playing I was down over 10k on that group but up five figures on other websites. So I was doing fine on the whole across all casinos but having absolutely rotten luck at N1.

N1 are an upstanding softswiss MGA licenced group that aren't doing any funny business with the slots so the reason I was down so much there was just swings and roundabouts.

For the past year I would say around 95% of the time no matter the slot or provider I am down x50 bet in 5 minutes if not it's under 10 minutes then down x100 in 10 - 15 mins I was down x300 on one slot on 20p stakes all gone in 30 mins with 2 very crap bonuses, thats the massive difference now from the old days around 2012 - 2017 it's how fast you go x50 - x100 down I can count on 1 hand in the last 2 years where I deposited and withdrew from a base hit, every single slot seems to run like NetEnt egg timer once you are down there's zero chance of recovery, PlayNGo always works like this 99% of the time...Balance £100 40p spins balance rips to £20 get a bonus puts you back up to £70 - £90 then if you stay on the same slot it will quickly go dead and rip you straight to zero, it's as if it takes the bonus money back in an instant 99.9% of the time after a bonus, the rtp is astonishingly bad on PlayNGo after a bonus round almost as if some machine learning system is running to the same config.
