Received this image in an email today from affiliate program EGO (will leave the name of their casinos out, but you can easily work it out).

I know this is a tongue in cheek joke, using a Halloween pun, but its not very clever. As an affiliate I certainly don't have any interest in bleeding players dry and I really hope that EGO are acting responsibly with their players.

Thanks Conker for telling us what promotion NOT to take part in :p

I'm not that surprised though. Slots Magic and Red Kings are great in sending tons of emails all the time...

Just seen another affiliate program fail. Banc de Binary are celebrating their partnership with Liverpool FC by bringing Dietmar Hamann to the Berlin Affiliate Conference.

Thumbs up for pulling off that partnership, MASSIVE thumbs down for failing to recognise that, whilst being German, Hamann may not be the best fella to promote gambling in Berlin... he is a (recovered?) addict.

Dina Nashef, Head of Affiliation at Banc De Binary said, “We are particularly excited about BAC this year with the commencement of our partnership with Liverpool Football Club. We’re delighted and proud to be associated with the club, and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to welcome legendary player Didi Hamann to our booth, showcasing why LFC and BDB are such natural, likeminded partners.”

Likeminded indeed. Plonkers.

I spoke with the EGO Marketing team and they asked me to post the following.

''We are very sorry if we offended anyone with the wording on the affiliate mailer that was sent out today.
We used the pun on the 'blood sucking'' content of the slot because we thought it was a bit funny , tongue in cheek and to get a reaction from our B2B customers.
Please dont let this distract you from participating in this great promotion from Netent which has a huge amount of cash to be won. !
Sincere apologies''
