Investigator rules against Palin in ethics probe
ANCHORAGE, Alaska Days before Gov. Sarah Palin is scheduled to leave office, the former vice presidential candidate is facing yet another legal distraction: An independent investigator found evidence she may have violated ethics laws by trading on her position as she sought money for lawyer fees.

A report obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press says Palin is securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust, set up by supporters.

An investigator for the state personnel board says in the July 14 report that there is probable cause to believe Palin used or attempted to use her official position for personal gain because she authorized the creation of the Alaska Fund Trust as the "official" legal defense fund.

Alaska needs to change their laws or stop entertaining false accusations. Palin is not favored by me due to her involvement in too many special interest groups, but the intense efforts to undermine her by government means is absurd. Nailing Palin has become a special interest group. These groups of nitpickers are crippling the nation.

I voted for her and McCain last year, i do agree that it has become a lets pick on Palin agenda for the far left who imo, will bring this nation as close to socialism as we could have never imagined, its happening now.

This is what gripes my tail about the whole deal, had she been a far left democrat, she would have been hailed a national hero by leftist radical groups, as a plain speaking mother, with a down syndrome baby and a unwed pregnant teen daughter.

It just sickens me to see all the bad press she and her family gets on the major networks, but hey they are prolly goverment owned also, might as well the goverment owns the banks, the car companys and maybe your health care coverage in the near future..............whats next?.............It scares the hell out of me just to imagine.

Would i vote for her again if she was on the ticket for 2012, prolly not, we are going to need someone who can get us out of this financial burden brought upon the tax payers of this nation by a over spending President and Palin just will not have what it takes................rant over...........laurie
