AN ODE TO MARK
God Looked around and said to himself
"Its time to get us an angel"
He talked to the saints with a gleam in his eyes
And said "I think I see an angel"
The place god was standing
was on top of a landing
in a house that filled up with sorrow
He looked at this boy and said full of joy
my angel will come by tomorrow
God has a plan
that we dont understand
It seems to us so unfair
But when you believe, you will start to conceive
that Mark is an angel up there
The impact Mark had
was all good, none bad
there was something so special in him
He lived life with pride
took all steps in stride
his spirit is now bright, not dim
Sweet Mark, youll be missed
and by God, youve been kissed
I feel glad your no longer in pain
and whenever I pray, at night when I lay
I just know that Ill see you again
