There was a rumor going around that I was approached by a rep from the Australian gaming authorities who wanted me to pass the word that affiliates can be held liable for any violations of the Australian gaming regs. And yep, it was true - read the report.

We have shut down all casino links for Australian IPs - and the CTA buttons are also turned off with notices in the review pages that casinos are violating the law if they take Australian bets without being licensed in Australia.

I would recommend that my webmeister brethren do the same.

It was the first thing I did when I got home - all operators now show Australia as a restricted territory.
