My advice would be to 'take the money and run' once this slot 'gets ya' its a merciless SOAB lol, so many players posting in this and other threads about IR's sheer brutality.

And the chances of free-spins = 1 in 160 spins
65% of the RTP came from the base game, with 31% from the features - making a total of 96.09%

When IR starts its eating sessions youre better off without it really. Next time you try it just spend 1 or 2 deposits, usually when its cold it indicates it quite quickly but it quickly turns aswell did a 200€ deposit a month ago to play it cold as ice until the last 1,5€ bet when i won 6x deposit back so patience is usually key but on IR its usually a sickness to play every penny on it.

I recon those patterns :') if youre lucky you always get 90% back but once you get it back you lose it quite quickly. Thing is though that when you look at the games from the point of view of "eye candy" what we see on the reels actually just represents the maths model of the program. So when it returns a no pay game it will choose any animation to serve this up. And so some animations will be programmed to appear more than others. So actually underneath the hood of the game its not linked at all to what we see on the screen. Its crunching numbers continually even when idle and when a person hits play - it will either give a win / loose and then we get the reward of the eye candy on the screen.

I think that's due to the way the algorithm works for this game.

I've also noticed that when two scatters appear on one spin then the scatter you needed appears on next spin. For almost all slot games. That's just the way the algorithm for these games are set up.

Troy is the most consistent IMO. But don't fall into the trap of picking Troy (or indeed any of the other three) all the time. I've had more ZERO paying Troy features than Amber features, despite the 5 extra spins, the lack of a guaranteed 5x multiplier and the supposed lower variance on the Troy feature.

I've had some good bonuses on Michael and Sarah too though. In fact, I've had sessions where my Michael bonuses were putting
the other three to shame. In my opinion, Michael has "the worst upside", but that doesn't mean he can't give a good payout (I've managed a 400x once).

Generally, I just pick Amber as my 1st bonus, Troy for my 2nd bonus, Michael for my 3rd bonus, Sarah for my 4th, Amber for my 5th, Troy for my 6th and so on.

I would have them ranked like this according to consistency for good payouts.
