I'm currently listening to...

This might be Nordic or maybe Swedish..
I dunno.. I'm culture ignorant.

Pretty trippy music. =)

Found this on wiki.

Vajas (meaning echo in North Sámi) was a Sámi-Norwegian band with Kristin Mellem on violin and vocals, Nils Johansen on guitars, computers and synthesizers and the famous Sami ethnic yoiker Ánde Somby on vocals and yoik (or joik, a type of traditional chanting or singing). The band debuted in 2003 and toured internationally. In October 2006 Vajas released its first album, Sacred Stone. The band is currently working on getting the release distributed in Germany and the UK with other countries to follow.[1] In 2009, a minor YouTube fad involved remaking or lipsynching to the song "Sparrow of the Wind".[2]

I often put this on the beat-box, pointing at the missus and nodding my head to da rhythm

You're a brave man G. If I tried that (with the lyrics of that song), I'd most likely get hit by a cast iron pan immediately.

Anyway, here's Blur reincarnated in Japan.

I've played this here before, but interesting is... I'm pretty good with accents (discerning/emulating) but my friend and I were discussing nuances in our language, regionally

And man, listening, (for me) easy to peg their Canadianism and locality; that I hadnt ever noticed before, because well, I'm Canadian and never been much cause to listen to my own
I've just been listening MORE to OUR accent to compare to others :p

Sometimes you just feel like living in the twilight zone.

Example => I learned a new word today:

なつ
懐かしい

Which means 'nostalgic'.

After which I came to this thread to find out Dino's walking down the memory lane.
