Ikibu's By the players for the players promotion

Great idea to ask the community what type of promo is best.

I presume I won't be eligible due to the less than 25 posts as I only use for private message you could say I'm shy/old possibly both :). As with VS promo i won't post 25 times just to fulfil promotion criteria it would just feel wrong. Maybe make it for people who have been a member of CM for more than a certain period (possibly 1week-month) although I'm sure I'm in the minority It would be appreciated by me and the other silent lurkers.

Option 3 sounds good. GL to those who recommended ideas.

How do you choose when you have no idea of what 'x' or 'y' is, could be deposit £50 for 100 spins on a 10p game? Sorry but more information is needed before I vote.

That's why they didn't shortlist my suggestion of a DOA promo, where the game, deposit and number of freespins were stated.

DOA, £20 deposit, 200 spins(£18 worth), prizes for the best multipliers

If they're gonna do something where the value of the spins is less than 50% of the deposit needed, then it's just another bog-standard casino promotion, for THEM to profit from and might as well be open to everyone, CM members or not

Voting for B (as long as the value of X isn’t too high e.g VS was £25)

Thanks for your efforts here. I know we are an awkward bunch lol! But you’ll figure us out soon x

P.S I particularly liked your initial quizzes. Guess where monkey is etc x

Given all the choices amount to 100 spins, obviously one would like to choose the slot, if the initial deposit amount is fairly reasonable.

So provided no slots are exempt and everyone scarpers to the 50-60p default games, that's the chance the casino has to take if it wants happy campers.

I agree! I wouldn't want them coming back to say it was what we voted for when we were actually voting blind :)

I'd rather they offer less of a bells & whistles type appeasement promo (poor Rafelito can do no right:p) and had no restrictions on anything, with wagering of yore, say 20x

So they might lose a bit of money overall, or even break even, but I'll be damned it's what the people want!:D

I'd happily go for option 2 also (VS Xmas idea) but when I originally posted I felt those sort of promos are like "once in a lifetime" or maybe "Xmas only" type scenarios so tried to keep it a tad more realistic :p

Plus the more I think about the wagering and excluded games as much as I want this casino to succeed, I'm losing interest already. maybe overtired or sick of slots, who knows??

GL one and all moving forward, Ikibu included :)

Yes. Given the last Ikibu offer from Raffa I never imagined that he would except to honour a similar deal to what Videoslots gave us in the lead up to Christmas.
Does Raffa need reminding of the terms of that offer?

But there are games where minimum bet is 1 or even higher in some cases, so the ability of choosing ANY slot seems unlikely

Also I don't understand why 2 & 3 were both selected when they're both basically identical. 100 spins for a deposit of x on y game but the other has bet size listed.. Too samey.

Plus with spins having wagering, and there being deposit bonuses everywhere, Ikibu included where deposit gets you free spins, these potential promos are too samey to what you can get anywhere else already. Last but not least, I can already see it being spins on a 10 cent bet on some shitter game.

But if Ikibu are going to mimic the Videoslots deal then there will be no wagering on the 100 free spins and Videoslots allowed them to be a any 50p minimum slot:)

I'd vote option 2, as long as we are not shafted with a 10p bet size. Deposit size of £20 would be about right for this one off promotion.

I still think an element of competition like highest multiplier would be a bit more fun though....

In fact, why not combine the 2:

1. £20 deposit gets you 100 spins minimum bet size 20p. Wagering on the winnings fine.
2. Person to get the highest multiplier in that time gets £200. Screenshots obligatory. Competition ends Sunday night.

Job done.

This right here is the best answer for the promo.

Deposit £20, get 100 spins on a game with a Spin value of between £0.25-0.50

And run a promo where the highest screenshot gets a wager free £200. Seems like an excellent promotion. Obviously everyone will be jumping on the 50p spins as it's a 250% match bonus in freespins. I like the all round sound of that promo

Maybe if the promo is too much make the reward for the highest screenshot £100. Still an awesome idea.

Why mimic? Where is the originality in that Geordie? :p

So you lose you're initial £20 deposit, then you have 100 spins at 0.50 value. That seems like a great offer to me. Of course it's impossible to ever compete with that offer that VS did...No casino would touch that idea as it would be "expensive".

Throw in a comp where the winner of the best screenie gets £100-£200 and you have a top promotion ;)

Only that we have been given those 3 options to choose from ( and two of those options are almost identical) :)
The original VS offer was to play x1 your deposit only then your given 100 wager free spins on a 50p slot. :)
VVV And that.

This is why I suggested to post the full VS offer to see if they would match it :)

The thing is... If it's not a good enough offer, then there'll be hardly any participants.
Most CM members are knowledgeable enough to know the difference between a good and bad promotion.
If it can't compete with the standard promotions available on a daily basis from other casinos, available to all their players. Then why bother?

VideoSlots might have made a loss on their last promotion (or maybe they didn't).
But they probably look at it as more of an investment in the CM community, which will be recouped eventually.

I'll second that.

They might make a marginal loss but how many of us are there here who will be taking it? Lets call it nominally 100 - it will be less but still. Much less than 3/4 will of those will meet wagering and you got one top prize to pay. I reckon the exposure is 2 grand tops.

I guess the rep fantasy is to have a high profile competition with loads of participants that pays for itself, but I don't think that is realistic with the CM members, they are a bit too sophisticated for that and they know the difference between a good and bad deal when they see one.

I have also literally just remembered the recent Betat competitions before Christmas which were very good - a grands worth of Amazon vouchers both times for first prize (cheers Igor) and decent reloads and other spot prizes for screenshots above 100x.

i think the casino has to bear in mind, casino/christmas freebs arent practical considerations for a standing promo....goodwill vs active promotion and has to balance give outs with player conversion.
me? im happy with good fair deposit matches, and decent rewards for REAL loyalty

But there's nothing to say a big annual promotion has to only be at Christmas.
In fact in some cases, where a deposit is required, it's better it's not at christmas when they'd be competing for deposits against the likes of Videoslots and Betat etc, with their very generous offers/prizes
