Hiya: This post really has no point. But there is plenty of bandwith to go around....

You just won a Mega Jackpot. They can not afford to pay you, so they send you an airline ticket, and you go there, "And the sign the Casino Over to you".

You decide, "Hey, I can make this the best OnLine Casino in the world".

So, what do you do.
1. What do you name it? and how would you advertise it?
2. What software will you use?
3. What service providers for deposits would you use?
4. How would you send out winnings?
5. Would you risk allowing US players?
6. Casino only, or would you also have a poker room or sportsbook?
7. What Bonus offers would you have, and what playthru requirements, and what games if any would be excluded?
8. And lastly, How would you pay out if someone hit your progressive jackpot for hundreds of thousands of $$$$ ?

Except for their name, I would steal every page I could out of 32Red's playbook, lol. Sorry Ed and Pat, but why mess with success? :D

What a great post.

1) I haven't decided yet ;)
2) In house
3) All the usual suspects
4) by same method as deposit where possible.
5) UK only
6) Casino only
7) 100% on 2nd deposit (30Xbonus, slots only)
8) With much fanfare and 1 big fat juicy check.

1. Fly By Night Casino. Pay streakers to paint casino name on bodies.
2. Wager 21.
3. Egold
4. Slowly
5. Oh hell yes :)
6. Would have poker room run by ex management of Absolute Poker.
7. 500% bonuses, all games eligible.
8. When hell freezes over.

Fast... although the software provider generally takes care of those big wins.

Online casinos are not rocket science. Keep the players happy, keep the affiliates happy, and the casino should stay happy. Its hardly as if there isn't enough profitability for this not to be followed by everyone. The fact that all casinos don't live by this simple mantra is just proof of the infinite greed of human beings.

Taking the initials of your casino....um, well...you might want to reconsider.:eek2:

I love you all dearly but I would want to keep payouts no fuss and quick.

well pfffttt lol they can still be quick even tho we be in the USA:p
Cindy
And the irony in Bush's "midnight drop" of final regulations is there is no mention, requirement, prohibition or similar that requires the identification and blocking of the flow of funds by any of the payment services and/or finanacial institutions from the wagering sites to the wager.

The regulations, prohibitions, etc. only deal with the indentification and restriction of the flow of funds from the wager to the wagering site. WELL I WILL BE DAMN, THAT THE WAGERING SITES MUST HAVE INNOCENTLY JUST MISUNDERSTOOD:rolleyes:>>>>Bring on the apologists, whatever:thumbsup:

Fully agreed with what the regulation says, but reality is unfortunately different.
Ask Calvin about the 24 millions which were seized (mostly bodog's but also other's money) intended to be paid back to customers.
Many other examples out there where either banks or authorities blew up channels to get money back to US players.

PS: sorry for getting off topic here.

Hiya: I am highjacking my own thread. Please explain. I play at bodog. I have 7 checks from Bodog totaling over 10k, and the last 5 checks arrived in less than 5 days from withdraw request via fed X. This being from nov 08 to march 09.

Now back to the thread. It appears all the answers are almost the same. It appears that every bonus abuser in the world would flock to your Casino. I, as example, would love a big fat bonus, with low playthru requirements, and Roulette was included. :D

Nice Idea,,,

That would be good if it happened, it wouldn't tho. The casino just wouldn't pay you and get away with it, there are limits to what they will pay out.

There are people around the world who won big and didn't get the advertised amount,

And when they do pay you it will be months later, as they will investigate any possible fraud before they payout.

If i had the casino i'd sell it and keep a roulette wheel and table etc a bj table and a fruity. Oh and one of the valet's if they were hot lol

All for personal entertainment of course

The title of the thread is "If YOU Owned a On Line Casino, you would?"
... so it would be quite some feat to hang on to any of those things!
:p

Haha cracking post. I think a few of you should get together and draw up a business plan :)

Nicholas @ Regal - not much to running a Casino? I'm sure there probably is otherwise everyone would be doing it. You have massive liabilities, huge bonus costs, huge overheads in staff, payment processing, operational setup and not the mention the gaming license.

Not just a case of keeping punters happy I don't think!

Also regarding point 8 - progressives should be paid out as quickly as possible since the money should be sat in a bank account somewhere earning interest!

Trust me, I'm very familiar with all the issues involved in setting up an online casino. I'm not saying it is simple organization wise; it is a logistical nightmare... I know .

What I am saying is company policy towards customers and affiliates is simple. Keep players happy. Keep affiliates happy.

Yes, to keep customers and affiliates happy, to have a high CC approval rate, fast customer service, fast payouts, can be a complex process to set up. But the policy of the company, that which they aim to do, is simple. If a casino keeps everyone happy, they will succeed (atleast, that is what we are experiencing right now).

What surprises me is the number of casinos that go through the organizational nightmare of setting it all up, and then miss the simplest step; keeping a customer satisfaction oriented policy :notworthy. Sheer greed blinds people into bad-business policies. So many casinos fail to remember that what we offer is a digital service... what really makes us are our customers and affiliates, without you guys, we are nothing but legal paper behind a licensed software running on idle servers.
