if a really nice affiliate manager turns bad,( because i used a nother affiliates banner by mistake because was it was in my email and had thought the casino sent it to me) and they gave me info on the aff whom i by accidently ran a campign on his banner to them. then they said they cant track it because they deal with hbim and him only, then they told me they had problems with a stolen list they allowed to be portaled in. another aff. isint that breaking the confidentiality contract?what should i do they even released his location and name too me, also they told me because i was now affiliated with him they accused me of having a stolen data base and canceled my account.
i find it weard that for two days after i had lost a campaign of about 15000
emails sent out to market them< witch i have accumulated through social networking EMAIL SPIDER :) face book and so as well as attending cap conventions, allot of contacts made there. i worked hard to get where i am and feel that after he would not pay me on the traffic he continued to harass me and rub it in via email how he was not going to pay me and did not want to work with me....what your input? it would be greatly in need.
he insulted me and i never stud a chance i trusted him then he pawned me off to another aff manger who did nothing, i am so distraught and emotionly sad. what would you do? i am new and made an honest mistake why can they at least let me know my conversions...no? or i would even sign a contract with them to gaurentee my traff so i can compensate for the lost i took. also they tried to perswayed my partner to sed them her data base so they could send it, hwen she said no because she waanted to do the campig they said no to her and we obviously trying to steel it from her, i dont even know why they told me the real name of the account holder because when i contacted him he was pissed and now they dont even want to pay him, thanks for your time, rebecca feinberg

You make me laugh

1st issue - you should learn the biz before you burn all your bridges.
2nd issue - I am sure most people including aff managers would run from you by doing no work - just spamming. Like any biz you should always do your home work - if your just in it for a fast buck you will fail.

What starts out right ends up right ;)

I have been working in this industries (part time) and make a nice income every month through hard work and ethics.

Sorry if I sound preachy but I just hate when people mess up and make it hard for the straight shooters.

This is what can happen to spammers when people get so fed up with it that they complain to the casinos concerned, and worse, try to organise a player boycott through publicising the incessant spam received for particular casinos.
When this happens, casinos stand to LOSE business through an out of control spamming affiliate, and if the pressure is enough, the affiliate will have their account locked, and payment refused.
Members here will support what was done in this case, but it is NOT the end, there is the chance to learn the lesson and try to be an honest affiliate with a new program.
Where STOLEN details are suspected, this becomes far more serious than mere spamming, and this might be why this crackdown seemed so harsh. If players find their details given in confidence to a casino have popped up in some spammers mailing list, they lose confidence in that casino's ability to keep personal data secure - this again can cost the casino revenue.
USING a stolen list is JUST AS BAD as stealing it, in the real world it comes under "receiving stolen property". Honourable affiliates would flatly refuse to buy a list unless they could be certain it was compiled from people who have given permission for their contact details to be passed to third parties. Verifying this can be near impossible, so it is best to gather your own list. A good way for doing this would be to have an "opt in to my newsletter" section on your website, and then design the website such that it becomes "visible" (and without any "cheating" either, such as "black hat SEO"). This can be done by linking to other related sites, and asking them to link back to yours.
Honourable affiliates do NOT make a fortune quickly, nor even slowly for the most part. Those that are at the top of their game have built their businesses over many years, and have a reputation to match.
