For a year I’ve been getting constant “offers” from casinos to join them. Most of them are casinos I’ve never heard of but among them is Leo Vegas. Even if you block their numbers they continue to text me from another number. Does anybody else have this issue and is there a solution?

Our telecos here are corrupt; selling phone numbers to shady individuals and rarely being punished for it.

Probably not from the casinos directly but from bent affiliates spamming numbers.

Within the text will be either a clear affiliate link which can be reported to the relevant casino with screenshot of the spam, OR a cloaked link such as bit.ly , which can be reported to the cloaking/shortening service and get taken down quite quickly.

If more people took action then a lot of this shit would stop.

Read terms and conditions. You proberly inserted your mobile number in there for verification purposes. Their T&C proberly state reselling details etc.

Can relate. Even though my online play is quite scarce these days ( following the change in Australian gaming legislation ), I still receive random affiliate spam on my phone.

Whilst it’s definitely annoying at times ( especially when it’s a dodgy casino promo link ), some small satisfaction is gained by swiping to the left and deleting the crap.
