of a slots players union.
Where players unite and help each other out.
One part of it is an insurance policy for "private play".
Each players is required to pay a monthly fee. The upside:
He get's insured against losses, how well depends on the fee he pays.
The there could be union projects:
Trying for a big jackpot as a union: Each player gets his share,
no one is left out. There could be one communal player who plays
with union money, streaming live on twich. So there's another layer of
benefit: Social communication for the often isolated slot player.
This minimizes the risk for all involved. And hey: maybe this union
(because it gets to bet B I G) takes ALL the jackpots. :D:notworthy

I know we are all greedy but think about it. I think it's a neat idea.
Perhaps I will even implement it in a more basic from, eg. everybody donates
to the masterplayer(who is streaming the session via twitch) and you could
enjoy betting big without risking too much. Of course winnings will have to be
divided - still, can you imagine the excitement of a 10$ freespin trigger shivering
through your body?

It's time for the union. Let's unite.

(Wait.... this forum... casinomeister... someone has gone before. Let's not forget
to honor this man but also go further: A bright future. For all of us.

This sounds like the EU all over again. The big fish helping out the small small fish, not really the other way round. Plus casinos would wise up and start poking their noses in (think Obama).

So nice idea but unsustainable in the long run. Just like the EU.

I vote OUT!! :p

I have visions of you orating this as a speech a la Martin Luther King. Gradually building up to a crescendo then finally to be greeted by the crowd in the Guns and Roses slot cheering

The part where pooled players play for a jackpot is already available with lotteries in Germany (Faber) and it's utter horsecrap. The bad RTP of many jackpots is additionally reduced by the fees of the union. A player insurance is like all insurances a bad deal (exception would be risks that have the potential to ruin you or if you deem yourself more likely to cause an insured event then the average insurant).

Generally speaking and a bit off-topic this reminds me of the over-socialized Germany where we have an unproductive government running crucial parts of entitlements like the "Deutsche Rentenversicherung" where you only benefit if you live roughly 8 years longer than your life-expectancy. No, I like to play for myself. If I need advice I know where to look for it. Here.
