Just wondering if i should be betting 1 line or 3 lines or max lines and which slot would be better...considering tomb raider secret of the sword but if an expert here could tell me otherwise please reply :D

Results kind of speak for themselves,I was wondering if any of you "grind" out bonuses often and if so if a specific slot or game did it better for you.

I'm sure KK will chime in here soon, but for me, I'd rather start out with larger bets to build a bankroll and take the chance of busting out early than to try and play 9+ cents a spin while watching your balance slowly work its way down to 0..

I guess it all depends on your starting balance and whether or not you're in it for entertainment value or want to actually be able to meet the wagering and cashout :)

And by all means stay away from high variance games if you're trying to grind out a bonus. You'll go broke really fast.

Would do the same as Winbig. Higher WR, higher initial betsize. And hope that you catch the positive variance early on.

If you could tell more. Like how high is the WR, what kind of starting balance and what software.

One way could be to divide your balance by 50 to 100 (depending on how much you value playtime) to get the initial betsize. Starting balance 200, betsize 2 to 4.
Most slot bonuses are -EV so you can only hope for an early big win and then lower the betsize.

The purpose of "grinding out" a bonus is usually to keep variance low, so you increase the chance of retaining your bonus/winnings and reduce the chance of busting and losing your deposit. So ideally, you'd want a low variance game with a low house edge. Slots are generally a poor choice for this goal since they usually are high variance and have a high house edge. If the bonus allows not slot games with the same wagering, then I'd choose something else. If the bonus only allows slots or has greatly increased wagering for other games, then I'd choose a lower variance slot game. The lower variance games tend to be the ones without high paying bonus rounds or big jackpots. A smaller bet size (per line) also greatly reduces variances, more so than number of lines. Two-tier betting as described in posts above, may also be useful.

Hiya: Since i don't use bonus money, you should take my advice....hehehe ah hahahaha.

I would really check the terms. Some places will not allow table games to count towards wagering requirements. This is fine. Buuuuuuuut.....other places not only do they not allow table games to count, if you even play at a table game EVERYTHING is void, and you are cheating, and they can boot your arse.

So, "I", would make the max bet on faceup 21, or 2 dozens on roulette, or something like that to increase funs available to use. Then, i would grind it out on the allowed slots, ect.

Also, some places will let you do this, and cash out winnings, but NOT the bonus.

...and YOU would be at a much increased risk of having to make a complaint because the casino has accused you of "bonus abuse", and either had something in the small print, or their "F U Clause" to invalidate some or all of your bets.
The scope of what casinos call "bonus abuse" is now so vague and wide reaching that even avoiding table games is not enough. Recently, a player complained of being screwed over because they placed a big bet on "Penalty Shootout", a 12 to 1 against bet, won, then played smaller stakes to meet WR elsewhere. It seems that ANY strategy that involves highly aggressive opening bets followed by more of a "grind" is liable to lead to problems with some casinos.
ANY game that is "zero weighted", or "does not count", should be regarded as FORBIDDEN for ANY play with a bonus, and not even played AFTER WR have been met, since in a few cases winnings have been voided on the grounds that the restriction does NOT end when WR is completed, but after a withdrawal.

The only safe way to approach a welcome bonus seems to be slots, since it is almost impossible for a casino to "prove" any kind of "bonus abuse" has taken place if the player takes a case to arbitration.

One or two MGS casinos have terms that will VOID WINNINGS if a bonus is ground out on, say, 9c Thunderstruck spins using the "Autoplay".

meh

Well i decided to take a choice and NOT "abuse" because I do not want my winnings voided. I am sorry I started this post to find out how people do it I dont want to do it so i wont. best to play honest

Note that many casinos bonuses are structured so that straigt up play on most games, including slots, will on average lose more money than the worth of the bonus.

Playthrough * house edge = expected loss.

Say it's microgaming-like, you have a $100 bonux, a 30x playthrough ($3000) and a 5% house edge on slots. Expected loss is $150, which doesn't make the bonus look so good.

So "grinding" through the bonus is just a way of reducing volatility and increasing the odds you reach the expected final end point. Which in many cases, may be a loss.

That's the problem with weighted bonuses. Where blackjack isn't available, you cannot play it like a sticky bonus and hope to treble your bankroll before grinding it out. But as others have said, playing 9p spins is probably just going to torture you in the long run, because your balance is going to creep slowly down even when you are in the belief that because the stakes are so small you have a good chance of clearing. When say a standard 100 bonus has 30x WR, you're talking over 33k spins before you have cleared the WR

If the EZ system is available, I play higher stakes (but still in proportion to my balance) and hope to hit a big win to make it possible to withdraw. Where it's not, in reality you are still hoping for a good run to keep you going. Unless you hit a good win, there isn't really a lot of point in grinding out right from the beginning.

Chime! :D
I think most people here have visited my site at one time or another & seen my slots strategy.
Very simple really; I start with low bets & gradually increase in a sort of slots martingale system in the hope of hitting a good bonus feature or three...
The main thing is knowing when to stop & move to a different slot, either when winning or losing too much.

To answer the OP's original questions; maximum lines on any slot gives minimum variance, and yes, I would say TR2 is very good for 'grinding' as IMHO it is not only the most entertaining MG bonus video slot to play, but it also has among the lowest variance.
