Just curious. Try to be honest in your estimations!

And to the people who play so much that you basically can't go positive, have you ever considered switching to play-money?

edit: And another question: Do you play with as good of an EV as possible (bonuses/events), or do you just play raw without bonuses or anything on your favourite site?

I am very curious, though I do believe I am fairly even.

I know I'm around even on casumo (maybe a bit up), I'd wager I'm down on betsafe but then I'm massively up on casinoeuro to make up for it.

B&M casino I think I might actually be fairly even too, after a few big cashouts.

My only hit is in poker, where I find it extremely fun to play but I'm awful at the game.

Q1: From Online Casinos I am 95% sure I am up - but I haven't a clue by how much

When I first started playing I was a "bonus hunter" and recorded ALL my play in great detail on Excel spreadsheets like this:

CQSSoct08.JPG .

I also recorded ALL my deposits and withdrawals on a master spreadsheet, and I know for a fact that I made profit every year from 2001 to 2010.
When I launched my website I did a month-by-month summary of all my play.
This old blog can still be viewed here:

From 2011 onward I stopped recording anything, gave up "hunting" and just played for fun. That's why I'm not sure if I'm still ahead or not - but I've certainly had some good cash-outs! For sure I am life-time ahead at VS & V&J ;) (But only just at VS!)

Q2: Play money??? Never!

Q3: These days I very rarely take bonuses, unless they have reasonable WR (no more than bonus x35, and cashable).
I just play games I like (and some I don't like but am annoyingly addicted to!).

I nearly shat my britches looking at my LeoVegas NET deposits, which stands at around 10K. Mind you, that is over seven years....one could argue other vices would have amounted to just as much.

So add another 10K across the board and we're probably at a realistic figure. Was it worth it?

NOPE!

Pretty sure, almost certain, down. Few years I was probably up : up about 5k on DOA and then Bonanza came and swung that 5k, and then some, over the last few years.

Hazard a guess I’m about 20k down over 8 years. Last year I was up a tad. Barely.
Same as me, brah :eek2:

this year i am down like 6500
i have been playing for like 5 years but i spent very little in previous years
overall i am down like 14k-15k

EDIT: i have done a few reverse withdrawals that were 4 figures, i would be about even if i hadn't reversed at all

Over my lifetime of gambling (30 years) including many trips to Vegas, I must be down at least £250000 I would say in actual gambling, but I have enjoyed every penny of it!!
Thanks for sharing. Do you still enjoy gambling even when you lose? And this might sound like a dumb question; but if you gamble that much, why not switch over to play money? Wouldn't you rather be down 250k in play money than in £? And what does your significant other think about the fact that you're down £250k (if she knows abuot it)?

Really sorry if these questions are too personal, you can ignore them if you want. I'm just curious about this stuff :)

Started in 2003

2003 - 2005, amateur, didn't know what I was doing really some initial losses (nothing heavy) then more of a break even

2005 onwards - discovered bonuses, MGS slots and was regularly withdrawing with occasional losses inbetween

2008 - 2015 - trod in shit, IR, DoA, Jurassic. found the Caddell group and their 100% reloads, trod in more shit and finished all these years with 4-figure profits :)

2016 - Now - found that I was not invincible after all, bonus banned almost everywhere (for winning, yes really!) BTG arrived, slots developed memories and now lose more often than not (only small amounts that I can comfortably afford) with the occasional small withdrawal (£100-£300)

Losing does not bother me anywhere near as much as it used to, then again the win buzz is not as good either, I even *shrugged* at a wild line the other day :p

I would never know if i was up or down.

Been gambling online 20 odd years . Been going to bookies 30 years since i was 15 lol.

Take VS i am in profit by thousands there. Other Casino sites probably at break even.

Main sites I use are bookies and i would never know how i have done as i bet sports and play slots at same time. Winnings from each i use on the other. At a quick look at Coral I am up there. Ladbrokes I can no longer use but hit nearly 2.5k there on 25p once and had a few four figure wins. Add that to sports wins and numerous good sessions on there old MG casino i must have been well in profit despite nearly daily deposits.

WH again no clue as i stick say £20 in at a time. Play slots and gamble on sports. Always withdraw if i have a nice win but no idea exactly how much i have spent over the years. Take the other week i hit £640 for free. Ended up having a weekend free gambling on sports and slots as i would have made several deposits so saved me money and ended up withdrawing £400.

But I always spend some winnings on sports at the slots and vice versa.

To be honest tho I gamble for fun of it. Like to make profit too lol. But the way i look at it as long as it is money i can afford i am not really bothered about whether i am up or down thousands. Money would just be wasted on something else anyway lol.

Certainly would never sit writing down all my deposits and withdrawals and all the wins on certain slots. To me that takes all the fun out of it.

1 - until 2 years ago I was up (hell, playing online paid my rent and bills), last 2 years, a lot poorer, but tbf, my WD threshold changed as well...maybe a few K down

2 - I'll play in free only to check out a few new games to see what theyre about before a deppo, but never 'for kicks'

3 - last several years I had a once weekly 100% match but was cut off in 2019, so mostly straight deps now but if any casino wants to offer me that, theyll probably get my loyalty :p

Q1 - Down for sure, wouldn't even want to guess how much. I've had loads of big wins down the years and without exception I withdraw these instantly and spend them on my family (or give to the wife who does it for me).

It's all for fun, and a lot healthier than a coke habit.

Q2 - never play demo mode.

Q3 - never take bonuses. Never have and never will - I prefer to play what I want, when I want. No rules or restrictions.

Going to guesstimate over the short period of time (give or take 3 years now) I've been gambling I'm around break even with sports betting being the main reason of being there. I've had a couple of big wins on slots but as I mostly play low stake they're few and far between, and as we all know even on small stakes you can still lose more than enough when you're a regular player

I check most of the new slots in demo mode.

Rarely get offered a decent bonus and it'll get even worse with new legislature coming to Belgium in June. But when I take one it's only parachute and without games restrictions. I've made quite some money on sports betting bonuses with a low rollover (2x, 5x) but then they decided to bonus ban me

I have been gambling online since 2015 was not depositing much maybe $20 at that time as I was not aware or a clue about online casinos until I found out about Casinomeister.

32 Red was my first one I used to be lucky at won more than I deposited along with Betat and Guts, lots of wildlines back in 2016 :)

Video slots was and still is my number one and since I can no longer play at any of them anymore I really struggle to win anything these days.

My deposits of $50-$150 a fortnight just vanishes in minutes now :(

In answer to the other original questions i gamble for fun. But also because i want to try and win lol. So fun play is no fun. I will occasionally play it tho to try new slots or because i am skint and bored. But end of the day it is pointless. Hitting a 5000x stake win on real money is some buzz. Hitting it on play money is nothing.

And I do not bother with bonuses. Sometimes i take them but mainly like WH where i get the bonus after wagering certain amount. Like a free bonus as i would have been wagering anyway. But prefer just to make my small deposits . Then i can withdraw when i please. Guess that is what helps me from losing too much. I am quite happy to deposit 20 play for a while and withdraw 40. I don't say oh i need to get up to a couple hundred before i withdraw. If i did i would be well down lol.

Im down over 100k on casino I think over the last 10 years but a lot of slots owe me a big bonus so I'm sure the investment will pay off (right?):mad:

If you include poker as gambling then I've been living off gambling profits over the last 12 years so Im obv up overall

I haven't kept track to be honest, I had some massive 4 figure and 5 figure cashouts over the years. Most of it - up to 80% was always withdrawn in cash and used for myself. Thanks to Dead or Alive.

Then my focus shifted as around 2016 Satan himself spawned a slot machine which promised an embarrassment of riches. Gold Carts, Diamonds galore and an abundance of red, blue and green gems. The slot made the Taj Mahal look like a slum compared to it and its Mega 'potential'.

The two horned man promised riches never seen before with 117 000 ways to achieve it...

It's 2019 now, my friends, relatives, distant cousins and generations after them are still waiting. I always told them I saw this MEGA hit on Youtube ONCE on a streamers channel.... and the second coming should be soon..

This is why I cant post my stats ... YET...

Whilst slot tracker doesn't cover ALL my use, it probably does over 80% of it (excluding mobile etc), and this probably covers last few years....

I would GUESS that overall i am maybe £10k up over the last 10 years, so practically £20 a week up at a total guess !!!

Lol my missus is worse than me!!

Honestly it doesnt bother me at all, I really enjoy a good gamble at a casino and had many big winning nights as well as the losers. Its something I love loved since a young boy playing coin pushers at the fair, and still enjoy it very much today!
